Metallica

[edit]

Nice cleanup on the article. I have it in my Vandalproof watchlist so I see it appear quite often, usually with non-contructive edits. POV and weasel words are rampant throughout the Wikipedia music articles so you may have your lifes work ahead of you. I pay particular attention to the lead in of the Metallica article. Right now it has cited statements about their album sales that are rather dated. I expect they have broken the 100 million mark but have never found a proper citation for it. The lead in and the album chart are 2 sections that vandals seem to target quite frequently. Every now and then their albums sales, Billboard chart positions etc. will get jacked up. And the lead in has, at times, been altered to say that the band has sold 200 even 300 million albums. If you are going to be a regular editor perhaps you could pay close attention to those types of vandalism that occur regularly in the article. And if you have a better reference for sales for the lead in that would be great too. Cheers! Anger22 18:24, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say kudos also, just got home and see VandalProof going nuts. For future reference, you can tag "{{inuse}}" at the top and then just do all your changes in one massive edit. That way it's easier for the other editors to follow along. Thanks again! — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 20:18, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
