Please update access-dates when you update peaks

[edit]

Hello David, please update the attached access-dates in chart templates when you update peaks, as you did not do so here and on several other pages. Thank you. Ss112 23:25, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reminding me, I always forget about the access dates. David829 (talk) 02:38, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 2023 in country music, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 05:51, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing edit

[edit]

Why did you do this? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 04:24, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It makes it easier for other editors to read plus some of the songs time lengths were missing from the article. David829 (talk) 04:33, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's actually more difficult to read. The article should stay with its existing style per MOS:VAR, MOS:RETAIN, and WP:ALBUMSTYLE. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:09, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Don't Take the Girl, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brett Young.

Wynonna

[edit]

Please only credit her as Wynonna Judd, even if her albums just use Wynonna. Per WP:COMMONNAME, she is often referred to as "Wynonna Judd" and should always be credited as such. (Compare how Reba McEntire is often just called "Reba", yet her page is at "Reba McEntire". Same thing.) Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 21:49, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know, you got it. David829 (talk) 21:56, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:15, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Billboard no longer publishes its Canada Country chart

[edit]

Billboard no longer publishes its Canada Country chart, so please stop updating charts that still say Billboard and use its links. This: https://www.billboard.com/charts/canada-country/ nor what would be this week's chart, https://www.billboard.com/charts/canada-country/2024-11-23/ work. You didn't even bother to change the URL in half the edits you made, like this. The previous URLs are all dead too, as are the archives, which Billboard has removed from its chart history pages for each artist, so you cannot use the template any longer either. It's clear you took this data from Mediabase directly, but it's not easy to access, and I'm not sure other Wikipedia editors would accept attempts to archive this chart using third-party upload websites. Ss112 10:47, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know about the Canada Country chart. David829 (talk) 16:26, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Nikki Cox, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! DonIago (talk) 14:48, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
