Hi
[edit]Hello David. With regard to this, it was actually Russavia, not me, who started this case. As about canvassing at ruwiki to promote someone at Commons, well, I do not care anymore.Biophys (talk) 19:21, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- I have a question, however. You tell "У него есть даже благодарность от администрации Президента России за интерес к России и вклад в Википедию." [1]. What award for Russavia from the Russian presidential administration do you mean? I did not know. That would be a great achievement, and he definitely deserved it.Biophys (talk) 19:51, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Biophys, I hope it didn't seem like a canvassing, I did my best not to write it like canvassing for him nor I meant "vote for him!", but "please regard his contributions and take your own decision". I always do so before voting for smb... regarding the award, you might be mistaken about the translation of the word благодарность, I would translate it as "commendation, appreciation, gratitude", and I found this word in the letter of Natalya Aleksandrovna, Press Attaché for the President of Russia, which I cannot find now (I think it must be on the commons, Russavia sent me the link a couple of month ago on irc, ask him about it if you're interesting). As far as I remember, it was roughly as follows: "We appreciate your interest for Russia and your contributions to the Russian culture". --David.s.kats (talk) 14:44, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. Now I see what you mean. I am sure more people will come from ruwiki.Biophys (talk) 18:54, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Уведомляю вас
[edit]Готов обсуждать.--Andrey! 08:42, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- Great, but as far as I know the policies of the en-wiki don't allow long discussions on its pages in other languages than English. That's why I would propose to return to the ru-wiki. It may be on another page than your discussion page, if you want. If so, let me know. --David.s.kats (talk) 15:52, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- I have written here instead of your e-mail. We can return to the ru-wiki.--Andrey! 06:41, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Grey seal cull 70,000 Canada info
[edit]I noticed your post on the grey seal disc page, so here is the email I got from Mac Farb MP who likes seals letter. My better half and I have been accumulating information on it mostly on FaceBook, but if you would like to create a wiki page somewhere (prob. not here), then maybe we can collaborate. --John Bessa (talk) 23:41, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
