Clint Ritchie

[edit]

Hey, thanks for your updates to the Clint Ritchie article. The article is in desperate need of citations, if have ready access to any I can guide you in their implementation. Basically, every assertion of fact about Ritchie in the article needs a source, or it is in danger of deletion. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 16:58, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm new to editing and have not figured out the citation input yet. Most info from Internet Movie Database but have a few others. Will have it figured out soon. Thanks.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Daveshadowfox (talkcontribs) 17:19, January 22, 2010
Ha, I should have started my message with "Welcome to Wikipedia!" And I did not mean to sound like I was scolding you or anything, I was just hoping that since you have an interest in Ritchie you might like to help improve the article a bit so I don't have to, LOL. I guess I do have a blunt way of speaking sometimes ;) Anyway, I'd be happy to assist you or whatever; as a matter of fact, I'm going to take a look at the obituary link listed and implement that into the article as a source and you can see how that works. There's actually a button that looks like at the top of the editing box that helps you construct citations. Also, IMDB is not considered a reliable source here as it is user-updated. Nothing in the article is necessarily inflammatory though, and editors are a little less strict with policing articles about deceased individuals, so I don't think anything will be taken out per se in the near future. It's just best to make articles as accurate and sourced as possible. Oh also, you should "sign" your talk page posts by typing four tildes (~~~~) after your comment, and Wikipedia will add your username and a date/time stamp. Thanks again, and Welcome!— TAnthonyTalk 17:40, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
