Based on your contributions to Wikipedia being primarily adding Ext Links to JamBase, the walks like a duck, talks like a duck test would imply you have some connection to the site and are attempting to promote it. (See conflict of interest and Advertising and Conflict of Interest for why this would be a problem).

If this is not the case, and you feel that adding the link is helpful to readers of the article, try adding to the talk section of the page and let the other editors of the article come to a consensus before you add the link. Otherwise, they will likely continue to be removed. Addionne (talk) 19:21, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We were trying to promote the artists' tour dates, but obviously Myspace and Facebook get priority for some reason

Perhaps partially because they are controlled by the group, not user-generated content? Addionne (talk) 20:52, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's right. Official MySpace and Facebook pages (i.e. pages written by the bands themselves, or their management) are sometimes included, but user-generated content or aggregator content is not suitable for an encyclopaedia. Also, promotional material of any kind is forbidden. Papa November (talk) 11:43, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
