Regarding this message from you: Speedy deletion declined: The New School of Monmouth County
Hello 64.229.36.142. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of The New School of Monmouth County, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article has been edited since it was tagged and is no longer a copyvio. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:55, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
So if I understand correctly, the entire page was not deleted because it was modified since it was tagged, but the copied material was still removed - ... or when you say the page was modified since it was tagged are you referring specifically to the removal of the copied material?
Thanks!
- Hi. After the article was tagged for speedy deletion, the material that had been copied from the other website was removed from the Wikipedia article. Thus the speedy deletion rationale, that the article was a copyright violation, was no longer applicable. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:26, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

IMDb
[edit]Hello. You can read about IMDb here. The basic idea is that on IMDb information can be edited by anyone, like Wikipedia, and therefore like Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source. We can provide links in "External links" section to IMDb but generally speaking should not rely on it as a source for specific claims within articles. In practice there is some room for interpretation here and often filmographies are sourced only to IMDb and that seems to be tolerated. What you did kind of looks like that but I think most experienced editors would interpret the guidelines as to strongly discourage your particular usage. Since you're writing about a very popular show I'm guessing that this same information is available from plenty of reliable sources -- lots of big websites review 2.5 Men every week, so it would be much better to use those sources instead. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of historical reenactment groups, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Roman and Tudor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article American Bell Association International has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. buffbills7701 13:29, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Edit Summaries
[edit]Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
