Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! 220 of Borg 04:13, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 05:54, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Query re group or educational editing

[edit]

Hi Dasfsadkjh. I was wondering, due to the 'unusual' editing activity at Termination of parental rights, which you have also edited, if this is part of a group project such as a college or university course? The editing was unusual in that 4 very new accounts, plus yourself, have edited that page. Yours and 2 of those 4 other accounts were created on 9 September, the other 2 on 7 September. If educational. please see Wikipedia:School and university projects.

I have started a discussion about this at Wikipedia:Education noticeboard/Incidents/Archive 5#Child protection related course? That will likely be the best place to reply to me, unless another noticeboard is found to be more relevant. Regards, 220 of Borg 06:18, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
