I appreciate your wanting to contribute to the X-Men Evolution episode summary pages, but please stop the hack and slash - the episode summaries are deliberately being grown and spun off to separate pages for each episode as sufficient content warrents.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Haverberg (talk • contribs)

[edit]Balancing the above, I, on the other hand, want to compliment your perfectly encyclopedic language and citation RE: his Mystic Arcana series. Would that everyone wrote so clearly and carefully. Welcome to the Comics Project! Anything I can help with, just ask. --Tenebrae 02:21, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- Glad to you want to come aboard! You can join the Comics Project at WikiProject Comics, which is excellent, should-be-required reading for editing Wikipedia comics articles. Make sure to check out the 'exemplar and editorial guidelines pages, and I've also been partial to the general Wiki pages WP:DATED and WP:CITE.
- Two suggestions: First, always end comments on talk pages with a dash or a couple of hyphens and then — most importantly — four tildes (the ~ sign). This will stamp your name and posting date, and link to your user and talk pages, automatically.
- The second is to build up slowly before tackling any X-Men-related pages. Because of those pages' popularity, there always seems to be one war or another brewing among editor-fans, and you'll be best prepared to defend your X-edits if you've already gotten a good grounding in the rules, guidelines and fundamentals. Hope this is of help; I've found that by and large this is great good of people to work with. For the most part, the regular, longtime Comics Project editors build on and polish each others' work, and are generous with their help and time. Not everyone, unfortunately, but those kinds of differences make the world go 'round. Have fun and stay in touch. --Tenebrae 01:56, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Molly Hayes
[edit]Hello, Dasbooch! I left a reply to your comment at my talk page. I'd appreciate it if you could discuss my concerns about the entry at the Molly Hayes talk page: I posted a justification for my edit there, whereas you (silently) reverted my work without providing a rationale or response. Engaging in our discussion there would make our points of view more easily available to other editors of the page, and encourage increased discussion.--Galliaz 11:01, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:RUNAWAYS V2 ISSUE26.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:RUNAWAYS V2 ISSUE26.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:05, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Christina Strain.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
