ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

Hi DarkSpartan,
While I agree with removing TRT, a source that WP:RSP designates as unreliable in this topic area, it does push you over WP:1RR; in the Arab-Israeli topic area, editors are only allowed to make a single revert every 24 hours.
Can you please self-revert your removal to bring yourself back into compliance with this restriction? BilledMammal (talk) 13:47, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @BilledMammal: I do not see how this violates WP:1RR, As it was not a revert that was done, it was an edit removing the TRT source after an edit which removed contentious wording (see this).
- If proper reasoning for requesting this action explaining is given, I will comply. I request this as i do not understand how this violates WP:1RR.
- Thanks in advance.
- Edit: did a little edit fixing cited edit. Also i just noticed a merge was done which removed the relevant edited bits from the article

- In the past 24 hours, you have made two reverts at the article:
- 13:36, 8 November 2024, reverting 11:26, 8 November 2024
- 13:45, 8 November 2024, reverting 09:44, 8 November 2024
- These are reverts because they undo, in whole or in part, a different editors contributor. With that said, I am wondering if 11:26, 8 November 2024 is a BLP violation, and thus the revert is covered by WP:3RRNO, but if I was you I would lean on the side of caution and self-revert 13:45, 8 November 2024 anyway. - @BilledMammal Understandable. How do I self revert this edit if the relevant bit doesn't exist in article? DarkSpartan (talk) 14:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- In that case, you can't - just be more careful in the future, and thank you for being willing to self-revert. BilledMammal (talk) 14:06, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @BilledMammal Thanks for the heads up by the way. DarkSpartan (talk) 14:07, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
