A discussion is taking place as to whether the article DFR Asia is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DFR Asia until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Hi, Daria. I am Gtwfan52. I have been a Wikipedia editor for roughly a year and a half and I have made approximately 15,000 edits. I am writing in regard your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DFR Asia.

Your "battlefield" attitude you are showing there will not help your cause. As I said, I have made roughly 15,000 edits on Wikipedia and the other editor that posted there (DAJF) has made over 58,000 edits. You have made six. It would behoove you to listen to people who have experience and are not out to get you, but simply doing what Wikipedia policy dictates. Making emotion based arguments at an AfD is not helpful to either yourself or the process. Please read WP:GD, a guide as to how to conduct yourself at an AfD discussion.

You seem to be making a rather common mistake for a newcomer here. You are confusing your real-world view of what is notable with Wikipedia's definition of notability, which is simply the policy here for what can be included in the encyclopedia. The real-world view you have is subjective, whereas the Wikipedia definition is fairly objective.

Encyclopedias, by definition, are what is called "tertiary" (third-party) sources. This is true for all encyclopedias, print and internet included. This means that we only include subjects on which secondary sources are writing on. A secondary source is a source that has no connection with the subject of the article, such as a newspaper or magazine, a book, or an academic journal. Further, Wikipedia has a requirement that sources for showing notability are "independent reliable sources". Independent reliable sources will have some system of fact checking in place and will have no connection at all with the subject they are writing about. Reliable sources include: newspapers (and their websites), magazines (and their websites), books (ones published by mainline publishing houses, not vanity press publishers) and respected academic journals. Note that this list does not include most internet content. For an article to be published in Wikipedia, you must show that the subject has been covered by reliable secondary sources.

Now to address specifically why I nominated the article in question for deletion. There are not any secondary sources that I could find after searching both Google and JSTOR for DFR Asia. At this search on google news, the first item appears to be the company itself (not independent) and the second is prweb.com, from its very title obviously not reliable. A search of Google books turned up the same company website and a mention in a directory (which is not enough to show the detailed coverage required by WP:N). Google scholar turned up nothing, as did JSTOR.

It certainly appears that there is not enough available right now to write an acceptable article about DFR Asia. That is not to say that there never will be, just that it is too soon. I hope this helps you understand what is happening here and that we don't have anything against either you or the company you are writing about.
