Speedy deletion nomination of Electrical engineering department of amirkabir university[edit]

A tag has been placed on Electrical engineering department of amirkabir university requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. It seems to me that an article you worked on, Dan Roth (computer scientist), may be copied from http://l2r.cs.uiuc.edu/bio.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

Houra Merrikh[edit]

I have accepted the draft of this article, after making the necessary revisions to show notability according to our rules for WP:PROF, which are based primarily upon the citations to her independent published work. The various interviews she has given and writeups in various sources that are not reliable for the purpose are irrelevant, and I have removed some of them, because they only detract from the actual notability. Similarly, speculations about possible medical applications are subject to the rules in WP:MEDRS, and are inappropriate until they have actually been published in reliable peer-reviews academic sources. Please do not restore the material I have removed, which would only be appropriate for the sort of `promotional biography that university press offices have been known to write. If you areg oing to write further biographies of scientists, take account of the changes I have made as a guide for doing this in the proper manner for an encyclopedia like Wikipedia .
