Please sign your comments

Hey there -- could you please sign the comments you leave on talk pages or on the AfD votes? Just type four tildes after your comment, like this: ~~~~. That'll automatically add your name and the time you left the comment to whatever you say. Makes everything a lot clearer. Thanks! -- Captain Disdain 08:11, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I already do. Dante 01:58, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, it seems like I forgot to on some pages. My bad. --Dante 04:45, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Daz Sampson article

[edit]

Would you please elucidate on your edit summary "Really fucking sick of this "copyright" shit"? - ThomasHarte 20:54, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly. I believe Wikipedia is going way too soft on these copyright "Nazis". If Wikipedia is to meet its purported mission of gathering the entire sum of human knowledge into one place for free, it's going to have to bend the "rules" a little bit. In retrospect, however, I feel I should not have expressed my feelings in the edit summary in such a vulgar way. I do apologize for that. Dante (Δαντε) 21:03, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay, I was just making sure you weren't going to say something like "Wikipedia should be completely unconcerned with copyright", in which case your edit would have been sufficiently against wikipedia policy as to be vandalism. As you clearly just think that this particular article doesn't have a substantial copyright problem now that the offending material is long removed then that obviously isn't vandalism but rather a judgment call based on the accepted policies. Thanks for explaining! - ThomasHarte 21:16, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I had to delete Daz Sampson as the copyright violation occurred in the very first edit, and there was no Daz Sampson/Temp to replace it with. If you would like to recreate the article with non-copyvio text, feel free. — Laura Scudder 15:48, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Uninunium" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Uninunium. Since you had some involvement with the Uninunium redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Steel1943 (talk) 19:55, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Uninunium" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the redirect Uninunium should be deleted, kept, or retargeted. It will be discussed at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 March 23#Uninunium until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 18:15, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article LUSENET has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG or WP:NWEB.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
