This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bonesaw, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://tyconpowered.com/bonesaw/history.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 00:11, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on TapInfluence requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Northamerica1000(talk) 18:45, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on TapInfluence, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

A tag has been placed on TapInfluence, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

In reply to your contested deletion of TapInfluence

[edit]

In concern that TapInfluence may be deleted before you read my reply to your contested deletion, I am reposting it here:

The way you are "moving over" from BlogFrog is a blatent copyright violation of the original article because you do not credit the original authors as required by Wikipedia's copyright. In addition the new material is blatently promotional in violation of Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy.

Since you have a manifest conflict of interest with regard to the company, you should leave a note at Talk:BlogFrog asking for the original article to be modified, noting the rebranding (and any other changes you think should be made). —teb728 t c 21:15, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to your reply: Your copy WAS a copyright violation because the original article had multiple authors, but only two of them were credited in the new article. And since you and your team have a conflict of interest, you are not suitable authors of any content about the company -- even if it were toned down. —teb728 t c 21:36, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from TapInfluence, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. —teb728 t c 21:20, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to TapInfluence has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Toddst1 (talk) 21:21, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Danmandle. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article TapInfluence, you should consider our guidance on Conflicts of interest and take a look at the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 21:22, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Toddst1 (talk) 21:25, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

An admin blocked my account and delete multiple pages that I was associated with without reading the talk pages. There was a complaint that the pages I was working on were too comercial and I was talking with another user about rectifying the issue. I am unable to rectify the issue with my account blocked.

Accept reason:

User agrees to leave COI article. Continued puffery will cause that article to be protected from editing. Toddst1 (talk) 22:28, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can unblock you but I'd need to know you understand our policies on WP:COI and WP:ADVERT. I'd also like to understand why you recreated the article with all its problems after getting the warnings above. Toddst1 (talk) 22:11, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I do understand the rules and was working on modifying the content. I don't believe that I was given adequate time to rectify the changes that I was cited for. The article was recreated because I was making edits while you deleted the article and saved them back up again. I appreciate that you moved BlogFrog and setup the redirect and everything. I will keep my hands off of TapInfluence and will advise the team here to keep the content objective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danmandle (talkcontribs) 22:20, 1 April 2013‎
Better yet, please advise the team that per WP:COI, they shouldn't edit the article at all, given the background. Toddst1 (talk) 22:28, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Will do.

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:43, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
