Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Daniel Santos (singer) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Daniel Santos (singer) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/danilu_santos) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:05, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Daniel Santos (singer) have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Hi and thanks for your message on my talk page. Please remember to login when editing wikipedia, as you left it while logged out, while reveals your IP address and can also be a breach of wikipedia's multiple accounts policy. Please also "sign" your posts on talk pages by including four tildes (~ this symbol) at the end.

I deleted a link you added to a twitter account, because as I said in the edit summary, it is against wikipedia's external links policy. You have said that you are the person's daughter, which means you have a clear conflict of interest and should not be directly editing the article at all. You should make suggestions on the talk page instead, and let editors without your conflict decide if content or links should be added to the article. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 23:27, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Melcous- I am a valid and first source of information concerning his biography. Comment deleted by me directly related to factual information concerning early and later years of artist contained errors with unreliable source. Source posted was not related at all to such assertions. Additionally, the edited information contained mispelling of family members' names which I corrected and was not challenged by other contributors. The edits were explained by me.. Please explain why a conflict of interest arises by correcting information since I hold first hand knowledge of artist. Agreed removed social media link as that flag for conflict of interest appeared valid. However, please review the current external link https://prpop.org/biografias/daniel-santos/ which promotes a foundation unrelated to the artist except for an article written by an author of one his biographical books which promotes the author and the foundation he is associated with-that does appear to be a conflict of interest. The link is continuously reposted when taken down. Please alert or block from reposting if it violates your conflict of interest policy. Look forward to your assistance. Respectfully submitted, DanilusantosDanilusantos (talk) 15:50, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
