Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for writing this article. Unfortunately it doesn't conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles. However, please do not be disheartened by what may happen to your first article, if indeed it is deleted. Please continue to edit Wikipedia and add articles which conform with the inclusion criteria. For more help, see Help:Contents and to find out what will probably be deleted, see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks, and if you have any questions, please ask them on my user talk page. A tag has been placed on Daniel jordan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article is a repost of either already posted material, or of material that was previously deleted under Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion. If you can indicate how Daniel jordan is different from all other articles, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}}, and also put a note on Talk:Daniel jordan saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we ask you to follow these instructions.RedRollerskate 20:53, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i will read these guidlines when i get a chance and re-do my bio. what do you think the main reason for my deletion was? i am the source for the information, and i approve what was type and it is all true i was not finished with the page and it was still a work in progress

Stop that

[edit]

Stop writing articles about yourself. You're only making work for people who have to clean them up. Friday (talk) 20:58, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

excuse me, i was trying to write a bio for myself and music career should i have a friend write the whole thing for me to make it legit? and i typed the intire thing here, i didnt copy from another source

would you have any input on how i should go about doing this over again within your guidlines? thank you and sorry for any inconvience

You may want to have a look at WP:BAI and WP:V. The short answer is this: write your bio on your own website, not on wikipedia. Friday (talk) 21:14, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i agree, but shouldnt anyone who has made contributions to society be granted a page? im not necessarily talking about myself, but in general. i felt the page was well written, and was not close to being finished because i havent inserted any links, pictures or facts to back up the words. is there a hiearchy you must obtain in order to obtain a fair page? all arguement aside, what would you suggest i do in order to have a page on HERE and not my own website? thank you

If you understood the purpose of Wikipedia you would not be asking that. See WP:5P for an intro. Friday (talk) 21:24, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
