Thanks for the welcome. Actually, I have been making contributions for a long time, but only a few days ago I decided to open a user account here. Well, I'll see what the future has to hold for me in this vocation.

Sincerely yours, DanielC46

I'm glad you started an account, great contributions so far :) Sarah (talk) 19:22, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm saying that if there was a mentioning of a first name for O'Brian in Iron Man: Armored Adventures or any confirmation from the show's creators, I would've said otherwise. Even we're not sure if he is just an O'Brian that was exclusive to the TV series. Outside of that, what do you think of the current season of this show so far? Rtkat3 (talk) 4:24, May 2 2012 (UTC)

Stan Lee

[edit]

Hi, and Welcome to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit to Ultimate Spider-Man (TV series), in keeping with the formal tone of an encyclopedia, people should generally be referred to by their surname rather than by their given name, except in certain circumstances. This is explained at WP:SURNAME.

Also, I have a question: Did Lee not appear in the episode "What I Hate Gym"? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 20:23, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, okay. Sorry for my confusion between the actor and the character.
But where did you edit the mention of Forbush? Nightscream (talk) 20:36, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work!

[edit]

Hey, just wanted to say you're doing great work in condensing some of the ridiculous plot dumps in the other media sections of comic character articles. Cheers! -Fandraltastic (talk) 18:22, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kathryn Grant. Hi there, regarding this edit at List of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 TV series) characters please note that while it's certainly the case that Chris Bradford was inspired by Chuck Norris, Wikipedia is not interested in the opinions of random bloggers. We're only interested in what reliably published sources with established reputations for fact-checking have to say. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:50, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to The Great Train Robbery (1903 film) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Proposed deletion of list of presidents by time in office

[edit]

I notice you objected to the article's deletion on the article talk page, but to make your opposition more effective you should go to https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_presidents_of_the_United_States_by_time_in_office and add them you are in favor of Keeping the article. Thank you Earthscent (talk) 13:19, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop re-adding this nonsense about another anime series as you have now done twice with this edit. The Inquisitr article is merely speculating about another anime season. The article itself even makes this very clear: "As of this publishing, anime production company A-1 Pictures has not announced anything official about the Gate Season 3 release date", (albeit with an intentionally misleading way of wording it) so don't add it back in.-- 20:56, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake, the IP added it back in. But if you see it being added back in, please remove it based on what I said above.-- 21:19, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks in return. I was unjustly thrown out of the German Wikipedia - or rather, I have since refused editing anything for them anymore - after one self-centered individual there started an edit war with me over the German version of Spider-Man: Homecoming, using long-winded and inappropriately formulated plot descriptions, and then filed a complaint - which was accepted! - for me doing "inappropriate edits! That's why I've come to hate such self-opinionated "contributors".DanielC46 (talk) 23:34, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to The Dragon Prince, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "publish changes" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. -- /Alex/21 08:42, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DanielC46, please be careful with what you do here. In this edit you took an enormous amount of material from Gate (novel series) without explaining why, which isn't good, but worse, you copied all that material into a separate article, without explaining where you got the information from and essentially presenting it as if it was your own. Please don't do that anymore: proper attribution is required. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:02, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Question: Just how was I supposed to make a "proper attribution" in this case? DanielC46 (talk) 18:20, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you read that editing guideline you will have seen Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia#Proper_attribution. The edit summary is the easiest way. Drmies (talk) 19:48, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kong vs. Godzilla edits

[edit]

I only added details to make it coherent and correct lines which didn't represent the plot correctly. The large data is due to the fact was that the page was already edited while I was editing so I copied and pasted the whole plot along with my edits. Do you want me to edit it bit by bit? Jithin.333 (talk) 07:23, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's about preserving the essentials of the plot summary. Too many added details will make the summary overly long and too incoherent for easy comprehension. I have personally seen - and corrected - some examples where the plot's formulation was rendered abysmally messy with such excessive "love for detail". DanielC46 (talk) 07:28, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What's the point of 'essentials' if they're incorrect? It misrepresents the story. Jithin.333 (talk) 04:33, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And what's the point of adding too much additional ballast if you want to keep something afloat? DanielC46 (talk) 05:06, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
