Disambiguation link notification for January 2
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of county roads in Okaloosa County, Florida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Old Spanish Trail (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Super-Mixer GR Compilation CD Cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Super-Mixer GR Compilation CD Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:50, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Named passenger trains at given stations
Thanks for the note. Yes, I've made another list of named passenger trains at Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, Wikipedia's name for the Central Railroad of New Jersey's Communipaw Terminal. Interesting project you have with the U.S. roads. Dogru144 (talk) 22:32, 20 January 2013 (UTC) The above terminal is in Jersey City, New Jersey directly south of Hoboken on the Hudson River harbor.Dogru144 (talk) 22:33, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

US 441 in Florida Edit and Advice for Future Edits
Hi Dan,
I was wondering what you meant when you said "Just because there's no FL 441 doesn't mean US 441 doesn't follow SR 439 and precede SR 442" when you undid my edit on the U.S. Route 441 in Florida page. I wasn't too sure what you meant when you said that.
Also, slightly off topic here, but I'm actually considering removing the Florida State Route navigator on the bottom there because even though it's true that US 441 is State Road 7 in South Florida, it has other hidden designations elsewhere in the State, like when it's in North Florida, it's SR 25A and SR 47.
I'm very new here, and I'm still figuring out the ins and outs of Wikipedia, so any advice on future edits is also welcome. Thanks again. BryanWeather (talk) 17:12, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- A lot of US Route and Interstate Route infoboxes have two sets of navigator boxes when needed, even though there's often more than one "hidden" state road included. We tend to use two sets of them when a hidden state road is entirely dominated by the US Roads, like Florida State Road 57 which is dominated by US 19 north of Capps, or Florida State Road 63, which is dominated by US 27 north of Tallahassee. What you did was remove the state routes that correctly come before and after US 441 in Florida, which was why I reverted your edits. I do understand why you want to remove Florida State Road 7 from the infobox. It's a separate route with it's own article. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 18:17, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- If I can jump in with a quick reply to BryanWeather here... The browser at the bottom of the infoboxes on US highway articles runs in numerical order, regardless of type, for a state. To use an example from Michigan, M-1 is the lowest numbered highway in the state, and US 2 is next followed by M-3. So the browser on U.S. Route 2 in Michigan has M-1 as the previous and M-3 as the next. If there are duplicate numbers, like Michigan has for US 24 and M-24, then we list them in order by priority: Interstates first, US Highways second, state highways third, as described at WP:USRD/STDS#Browsing. So for Florida, US 441 would be preceded by next-highest number, SR 439, and succeeded by the next-lowest number, SR 442. Imzadi 1979 → 18:37, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- I knew there had to be an official policy on this. Thanks for clearing it up, assuming I couldn't make it clear to BryanWeather. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 20:01, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Well that makes a little more sense then. I think I understand it now. Thanks again to both of you. BryanWeather (talk) 15:22, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
