I posted on the article's talk page a few days ago that the self-published sources in the article had to be replaced, or the article would have to be delisted as a Good Article. That was done, but you reinserted one of the footnotes back into the article. Can you find a replacement source (hint: I think that date might be cited to a better source) or remove your "revival" there. If not, the article could be summarily delisted as a GA at any time. I missed that, but I thought it was removed because the link was defective. I apologize. ----DanTD (talk) 13:29, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Dead link in article 'List of paved Florida bike trails'

Hi. I tried to fix the dead links in 'List of paved Florida bike trails', but there was one that I couldn't fix. I marked it with {{Dead link}}. Can you help fix the last dead link?

Dead: http://www.baynews9.com/images/news/2006/11/24//lgwholetrail.jpg

Please take a look at that article and fix what you can. Thank you!

I was able to add one, but not the others. ----DanTD (talk) 02:17, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

"Category moved"

Are you just updating the sortkeys for categories? If so, you probably don't want to be using the edit summary "category moved" which would imply that you're moving the category (like renaming an article). You could be confusing a lot of editors by using misleading terminology in your edit summaries since "moving" implying moving the title of a page to another name. Imzadi 1979  11:49, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Looks like a move to me. If it hadn't beeen it would be listed under "U" in Category:U.S. Highways in Pennsylvania. ----DanTD (talk) 11:57, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
Ok, you're not moving the category. You're resorting how things appear in the category using the sortkey. "Category moved" implies that the category itself has been moved (it has not) when you're just resorting things. Plus, the documentation calls them sortkeys, see WP:SORTKEY for details. Aw, crap! I've got to keep that link on file somewhere. ----DanTD (talk) 17:40, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

jct and non-city destinations

Just so you know, you don't have to create redirects for airports. Instead of |city#=<airport> use |location#=[[<airport>]] The numbers are mutual exclusive (so you can have a location1 and city2, but not a location1 and city1) and that's been in place for quite a while now. Imzadi 1979  22:22, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Oh, cool. ----DanTD (talk) 22:36, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
And no, we don't hate CRs. I'm not an admin, but I did create County Road 595 (Marquette County, Michigan), which definitely satisfies the General Notability Guideline. We just don't think CRs warrant the attention that some lavish on them when there are higher priority articles that need attention first. Imzadi 1979  22:51, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Okay, but I really only added that one because it's an extension of Florida State Road 510, and shares the same intersection. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered adding it. The same goes for St. Johns CR 214. If part of it hadn't shared an overlap with US BUS 1, I wouldn't have added it to the US 1 in Florida intersection list when I was expanding it. ----DanTD (talk) 23:14, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Which was fine, until you used the edit summary: "adding IR CR extension of SR 510(I know the Admins hate County Roads, but it's part of the same intersection and SR)", which could be a personal attack against admins. Look, I regularly include the county-designated highways in the junction lists of Michigan highways because they are shown on the modern MDOT maps. Most of us list CRs if they are the location of a terminus of a state highway, so please stop this false dichotomy of "admins" vs. "you". It's more like "more important, more visible or more notable subjects" vs. "less important, less visible, non-notable subjects". Take a look sometime at WP:USRD/PP to see what our readers are reading in terms of the 500 most-viewed articles for USRD; it's not county roads. Imzadi 1979  23:29, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited U.S. Route 41 in Florida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Santa Fe River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hmm, I swiped that text from U.S. Route 441 in Florida, which I also wrote, and I thought I bypassed any potential dabs. Oh well, it's fixed now.
FYI, I already know this was sent by a bot. But that doesn't mean the creator or manager of the bot wouldn't watch what it does, or how people would react to it. ----DanTD (talk) 15:39, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
