AFL Club logos

The size you want of 150 px is too small for me to see on the screen, that size only takes up about 12% the width of the page and makes the info box look too cramped. Also I think 250 px is the agreed standard to use. If not please direct me to where the image sizes have been agreed. Correction: only a couple of users have reverted me, not everyone.
Right, well OK here are a few editors preferring 250px:

• The-Pope[2]
• 203.220.170.191[3]
• and most club logos have been 250px since May last year, with a couple of logos between 200px to 300px.

Fair use rationale for Image:BCE.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:BCE.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. We now have 20 articles of featured quality. Well done to the various WP:RHCP editors, Xihix, Ceoil, WesleyDodds, and Teemu08. Kate Bush was featured on the Main Page on July 30. We collaborated on Meat Puppets, In Utero, "Touch Me I'm Sick", John Frusciante, and Zeitgeist (The Smashing Pumpkins album) during the past month. During the month of July, Sky Blue Sky, R.E.M. (band), "Monkey Gone to Heaven", A.M. (album), The Cure, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Wilco, Loose Fur, John Frusciante, A Ghost Is Born and Being There (album), a total of 11 articles, were promoted to good article status; a record month. We now have 33 GAs, out of a total of ~680 articles.

Fair use problems

Hi Dan027,

I read your message to User:Betacommand about fair use problems. I know it's a frustrating problem, but please remain civil. Fair use rationales apply to the use of an image, not the image's content, so saying "this is a fair use image" makes no sense. You need to say "the use of this image in <article> is fair" instead. The easiest way to keep the bots happy is to fill in the blanks in the ready made template. See Template:Non-free use rationale for full instructions. The discographies of The Make-Up, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nirvana, Lightning Bolt, The Breeders and John Frusciante all reached featured list status during the past month; a record month. Well done to Drewcifer3000, Brandt Luke Zorn (who both wrote two featured lists!) CloudNine, NSR77 and Grim-Gym. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was featured on the Main Page on September 24. We collaborated on Nirvana (band), Jimmy Chamberlin, Noel Gallagher and Courtney Love during the past month. During the month of September, Dream Days at the Hotel Existence, Era Vulgaris (album), Feeder (band), Harry and the Potters, "I Don't Remember", Kicking Television: Live in Chicago, Powderfinger, "Starlight" (song)" and Weezer (1994 album) were all promoted to good article status, a total of nine articles!

South Gippsland railway line, Victoria

Hey mate, I see you have gone to town on the south gippsland line route guide. I am now just a bit worried that this is too much info. To keep it standardised with other line articles maybe we should just keep the guide to display stations, branch lines and major rivers. By all means keep the km details in though. If we include every level crossing and minor bridge the thing will end up excessively long, as this one is turning out to be. Just a thought. Nomadtales 01:12, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

During the month of October, Adam Clayton, One Hot Minute and Joey Santiago were promoted to good article status. There are two articles at prose review, Butthole Surfers and Radiohead. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already.
