Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Edward Julius Detmold has been reverted.
Your edit here to Edward Julius Detmold was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmkcCP-1eV4, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpFrJRYqXmg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:11, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Edward Julius Detmold entry Please can you help! I'm a newcomer to this, but made revisions to the Edward Julius Detmold page, because this page contains a number of important factual mistakes and omissions (wrong dates for some publications, incorrect information about Detmold's move to Montgomeryshire, missing information about his role as a conscientious objector and his important work "The Truth" etc.) I also added some further references. These are all properly researched reliable sources. All of my changes were automatically reverted by a bot. I think this may be because I included links to a website and to a YouTube documentary series in my references (none of these violate copyright), but unfortunately the reversion has just restored all the incorrect information which I carefully tried to correct, and removed sources which will be valuable to readers. I'd be hugely grateful if you could restore my edits. If any of these do conflict with Wikipedia rules, I'd be happy to adjust them, and I'd also be happy to provide any more information you may need, but I am sorry to see incorrect information about this important artist being circulated through Wikipedia. Many thanks in advance for your help! DalgenyAunt (talk) 10:33, 10 February 2022 (UTC) DalgenyAunt (talk) 10:33, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You should discuss this matter with other editors at Talk:Edward Julius Detmold; they will be able to give a better idea of why your edits were reverted and how that missing/incorrect information can be corrected. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 16:46, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
