Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Men Without Hats has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/menwithouthats.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:54, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can see, there's nothing at www.safetydance.com except one video. And there's nothing there that confirms that this is the official website of anyone. Meanwhile menwithouthats.com contains far more useful content and does claim to be the "official" website. Can you please explain why you keep changing this? Thank you.--Arxiloxos (talk) 06:37, 19 March 2011 (UTC) Hello. Ivan Doroschuk does not have any control over www.menwithouthats.com, and it is not the official site. Therefore, even though there is some relevant information on that site, having it referenced is damaging to MWH, as there is a chat board that is making personal attacks on a regular basis against Ivan, his new band memebers, and his manager. This chat board has already been shut down once, but it is back up again. Therefore, the www.safeteydance.com, is the current official site, and it will have a new video updated shortly, as MWH just started their new 2011 tour at SXSW. To verify all of this, you can click on the Facebook icon at www.safetydance.com, and see all of the latest on the band. This is where you will find all of the official new status updates for MWH, Ivan and his new band members. You can go directly there: http://www.facebook.com/menwithouthats, and you will see the latest post today for the video clip from the performance last night, and you will see that the fan base is growing at about 30-40 people per day. This is the link that the band would like to have on wikipedia, but it is against your policy. I hope this helps to explain things. I am a fan, and I am just trying to help keep the wikipedia information accurate for the other MWH fans. Thanks, Dale. Www.menwithouthats.com is maintained by Stefan, who is MWH member. It contains the history of the band. Www.safetydance.com is just a empty advertisement page, that has been "coming soon" for years. Facebook and Cyboard are fan forums and not sources for accurate Wikipedia. Karwin (talk) 12:19, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Men Without Hats website dispute

[edit]

You are currently in a dispute with User:Karwin about which website is the official one for this band. I strongly suggest the two of you discuss this on the Talk page for the article. If the two of you continue this edit warring, I will take action... Tabercil (talk) 15:27, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
