HPDH Talk Page

[edit]

Well i've left a question on the DH page on Horcruxes. Simply south 14:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm ok thanks for clearing that up. I just thought it was fan discussion. I didn't know there was a confusion in the editing of the article re six or seven horcruxes. Reverted myself. =) Berserkerz Crit 08:22, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean by "clean" it up? If by edit the section to make it more clear how there are only six horcruxes and not seven, then by all means be bold. Berserkerz Crit 08:34, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

R.A.B.

[edit]

Yep, it's no big deal. The previous link had incorporated.. either [[Insert text]] or [[Link title]] - I can't be certain which, and all it took was a small compromise of versions. All is well. Bobo. 06:25, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikifrenzy

[edit]

Could you please engage into a dialog with Wikifrenzy ? you guys are totally polluting the histories now. --TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 12:55, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

and your reverts seem to include some edits that actually appear to be proper edits. --TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 12:59, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, slight error there, ace.

1 - It's *my* user talk page, not Luna's. I can't "vandalize" my own talk page.

2 - the block had expired

I'm exiting Wikipedia and don't want to leave a User Page or User Talk Page as a scratch pad for doofi.

Btw, see also:

http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Luna_Santin#http:.2F.2Fwiki.riteme.site.2Fwiki.2FUser_talk:Eblem

The Luna_Sant comment was ageism, a prima facie violation of Wikipedia's ban on personal attacks:

http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/WP:NPA

If you restore it -again, you're engaging in ageism, a prima facie violation of the personal attack ban:

"There is no bright-line rule about what constitutes a personal attack as opposed to constructive discussion, but some types of comments are never acceptable:"

"* Racial, sexual, homophobic, ageist, religious, political, or ethnic epithets directed against another contributor."

Ordinal numbers

[edit]

Hi, I saw your message to User:Wikifrenzy on their talk page. I had reverted some of their edits too but I could not find any mention of proper usage (First vs 1st) in the WP:MOS. All I found was this on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers). Could you tell me where I can find a proper guide to usage? Thanks. :) - TwoOars (T | C) 19:05, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've had a discussion with User:Potatoswatter who thinks MOS:NUM#Numbers in words is alright as it is. So I guess thats ok, though I prefer it being spelt out explicitly. - TwoOars (T | C) 19:30, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alright then, thanks. :) - TwoOars (T | C) 02:46, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

You recently edited an article for Dekker Dreyer... the article is up for deletion based on notability, and I would like to ask you to chime in on the discussion of that deletion. Wikimegamaster 22:16, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
This well-earned barnstar is to let you know your wonderful work on keeping Harry Potter articles free from vandalism, that is, speculation and silly spoilers, hasn't gone unnoticed. Have a blissful day, Peacent 04:28, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't mention it, you richly deserve the star. This Harry Potter 7 stuff is driving me insane, I truly hope we can survive until 21st, too. Take good care, Peacent 06:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for correcting my sloppy revert on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (film). Not many users pay attention to reverts! [1]

WikiProject Harry Potter roll-call

[edit]

Hi there. Your username is listed on the WikiProject Harry Potter participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. Your name has therefore been moved to a "potentially inactive" list. If you still consider yourself an active WikiProject Harry Potter editor, please move your name from the Potentially inactive list to the Active Contributors list. You may also wish to add {{User WP Harry Potter}} to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. Conversely, if you do not wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the Inactive Contributors section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the Known to have left section. Many thanks.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
