Welcome! to Dachande's Talk Page!

Thanks for adding more detail on the hierarchy and organisation of the Service to this article. I have now removed the stub marker as I think it is detailed enough. I have recently been trying to complete Wikipedia's coverage of the Vorkosigan Saga and would appreciate if you could help me with this task. Walton monarchist89 10:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are very welcome. I try to add as much as possible to the Wikipedia coverage of this wondeful series. The Vorkosigan Saga is the best set of books I think I have ever gotten my hands on. 20:21, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Hello Dachande. this is the relevant documentation. Thanks, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:55, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

citation tags

[edit]

dont remove citation tags on eminem , even if it is on his name and alter ego`s . this same debate has already been made about michael jackson being called mj or king of pop. as well as madonna and the like. it does need sourcing. if you remove tags again it will constitute vandalism. Realist2 12:03, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dachande's Response

[edit]

Based on your comments I assume that you have gone in and placed citation tags for George W. Bush being called the President of the United States, and additionally placed a citation tag for the Queen of England. Now, I understand the need for the citation on the "King of Pop" because he DOES NOT SELL RECORDS UNDER THAT NAME. If you go to the page for the rapper Mystikal he has a real name and an uncited stage name. Oh gee, almost every rapper on the planet uses a stage name, or THE NAME THEY SELL RECORDS UNDER. Additionally, the page is the Eminem wikipedia entry. I have read the Wikiguidelines thoroughly and I find nothing that suggests I am in anyway approaching vandalism. I am saying that Marshall Mathers goes by Eminem, which is 1. not doubtful, 2.not harmful, 3. not contentious, 4. completely correct. Finally, If you are so dead set on requiring a citation to PROVE that Marshall Mathers calls himself Eminem, then instead of leaving a 15 character "citation needed" tag, how about you go find a damn source that says Marshall Mathers is Eminem, and then enter the note, leaving only a 1 or 2 character citation tag. Be a real Wikipedian and find a source. But just leaving a tag is 1. ugly 2. lazy 3. very unnecessary. I do NOT appreciate the threat and I do NOT agree with you. Good day. Dachande 16:12, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Response

[edit]

I removed that particular tag, because it was inappropriate, it was onlt ment for slim shady , so i apologies however te rest of the tags are neccesary. I will look into research on eminem myself in due course. Realist2 17:10, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Serg Vorbarra, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
