- Dear Mr./Mrs./Mx,Willondon,
- I'm Here to consult you about your changes to the "Mount View High School" Wiki page, you see, Some of the things you changed were a part of an on running school joke, A couple years ago, The school announced they would let the students create a wiki page and add some fun bits onto it (As long as they weren't inappropriate) I noticed today that some people were making crude changes specifically the one under the sports tab I was personally going to remove it when I noticed that some had fixed it, I was quite happy because I thought that edit was a bit untasteful, But when I went to read it again I noticed you changed the years old jokes, like "Criminal-Britney Spears" as the school song (Something that was made on the student edit day) and the principals name "Zachery Fleeman" back to "Zachary Freeman" ("Zachery Fleeman" was also made on the student edit day)
- In all I just wanted to try to get your permission to clear it back to the original student edit day submissions.
- Sincerely
- -Me :) Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 01:40, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Permission denied. Wikipedia doesn't do jokes and hoaxes. Any edits that deliberately introduce factual errors into the article are considered vandalism. Consider the final warning above still in effect. Perhaps the school will let you fool around with a page on the school's website. signed, Willondon (talk) 01:56, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Mr./Mrs./Ms/Mx.Willondon
- The school Intentionally let this Wikipedia be edited by the students as a school spirit exercise, This is factual, Factually correct to the schools wishes, Do you not understand this?
- Sincerely
- -Me :) Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:04, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- P.S. When the "school announced they would let the students create a wiki page", they made a mistake, in that the school has no authority or control whatsoever as to if there is a page or what is on it. It's a common misperception with school articles that it is "the school's web page on Wikipedia". It is not. And Wikipedia is not social media. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:01, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Seeing as its factually correct though, What's wrong?
- Sincerely
- -Me :) Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:05, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- How is it factually correct to have a misspelling of the principal's name? signed, Willondon (talk) 02:07, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- It's factually correct that he allowed the students to edit that, Question? Would you like there to be a tag of alteration on his name like "Principal = Zackery Fleeman (Zackary Freeman)" or along that on all the edits or just his name? or at all? Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:10, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- No. As I said above, the school or its principal can't allow or disallow squat on the school's article. The Wikipedia community decides what goes on there. Again, it is not "the school's web page on Wikipedia". It's a Wikipedia article about the school. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:12, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, Arn't I apart of the community? I have an account, I go to the school, I interact with the faculty every day, also, why do you have permission to change what was on the page, didn't you notice, that that information had been there for a year or more, why do YOU get to override a past persons edit, why are you more powerful than them? Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:14, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Did the school contact you to change it? or did you just decide. Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

That you go to the school is worse, because in editing the article, you would have a conflict of interest. That aside, I have no more power than any other member of the community. And yes, you are part of the Wikipedia community, too. That's why you're expected to follow the guidelines and policies that have developed over the years. Being part of the community means fundamentally doing what's best for Wikipedia. Continuing to act against that gets you blocked. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:21, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- So.... You know what's better for the page? If anyone is vandalizing it, it's you, you have no idea about this school, you don't have the schools best interests at heart, did you see how there was a clout team in our sports tab? I am on that team, I manage the best interests of the school all over the web, from Facebook, to wiki, hell even to raffle sites. I don't think you have much of a "best interest" opinion here, you are making uneducated edits. This is a page created for the public to see, and have a bit of fun with, I could happily add a syterical tag to it. Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:33, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
And no, the school didn't contact me to change it. Again, they ultimately have no say about what's in the article. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:22, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
I can't make it any more clear. I don't have the school's best interests at heart; I have Wikipedia's best interests at heart. And Wikipedia doesn't host articles to "have a bit of fun with
". You'd probably be better off if you sleep on it before doing any more editing. Maybe run the situation by a trusted advisor to see what they think. Because this is indeed the final advice that you will get blocked if you "have fun" with Wikipedia articles anymore. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:41, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Question, How many Edits do you have?, Just interested Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:42, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- You can view any editor's contributions, and at the bottom of the page, there's a link to see "Edit count". Mine comes in at a little over 29,500. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:49, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, get some sleep mate, Would you know how I could get ahold of an admin? I don't really know HaHa Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 02:54, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- The page at Wikipedia:List of administrators is a good start. You can get lists of individual administrators, or advice on pages that administrators monitor, where you can post issues. Read carefully, because most of those pages have very specific things that they will address. signed, Willondon (talk) 03:02, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Alrighty thank you, can you leave the light on after you tuck me in ? Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 03:06, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

I highly suggest that this person is trolling... just block this user and protect the high school page for a good amount of time. No need to stall on this any longer. wizzito | say hello! 04:25, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- This is not trolling, this is returning the wiki page to how it has sat for 2 years, willondon came out of nowhere and changed it, If anyone is vandalizing or trolling it would be him. Dababyspersonaleditor (talk) 13:21, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Mount View High School (Maine). Thank you. wizzito | say hello! 04:34, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- If school staff wish for a more constructive way to get students to edit Wikipedia, try going through the Wikipedia:Wiki Education Foundation (then again, I don't know anything about high school WikiEdu edits since the program is geared towards colleges and universities). wizzito | say hello! 04:38, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
