Wii VC Future Releases

[edit]

If you'd care to notice that all regions so far have received N64 games at within 1 or 2 weeks of Japan, that would be appreciated. If it's listed for Japan, it is highly likely it is coming here as the next N64 title. Thank you. NeolithicAU (tlk) (cntrbtns)

Unspecified source for Image:JohnCena.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:JohnCena.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:49, 30 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 01:49, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create malicous redirects, as you did with Best game of all time. They are disruptive and are considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Kariteh 08:05, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May 2007

[edit]

This is your only warning. The next time you make a personal attack as you did at Danny Phantom, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Wildthing61476 18:49, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not re-insert the fair-use image gallery on this page. Per our rules about fair-use images, cover art may only be used when it is accompanied by critical commentary. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:10, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Etrian odyssey boxart.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Etrian odyssey boxart.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:09, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

With regards to your comments on Mortal Kombat: Armageddon: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Non-free use disputed for Image:PanelDePonDS.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:PanelDePonDS.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:58, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Etrian odyssey boxart.jpg)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Etrian odyssey boxart.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shell babelfish 05:04, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
