Hello DVDrummer

[edit]

I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few points pertaining to the message you left on my talk pages. I did not state that I had a bias towards USANA, but merely provided an explanation regarding why I attempt at keeping the article updated. The statement that I had a bias was made by another poster and the issue has previously been resolved by my providing him with a clearer explanation and an adjustment to my User page. I can not fathom why your school assignment would require that a full listing of USANAs products be available in their Wikipedia article and I don't believe that it should remain simply because you are working on a school assignment. The content wasn't relevant to the article and only served to take up space which is why it has been removed. I understand that your teacher might have approved of you doing so but I don't believe such information falls within the guidelines of what Wikipedia would consider relevant enough to include. Good luck with your project. Jean314 (talk) 19:12, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DVDDrummer I would suggest you re-read my user page because you are clearly mistaken about what it says about my relationship and opinion about USANA. While you are correct that Aston Martin and Ferrari have product lists that would be because their individual products are considered significant enough to have their own articles with the parent articles serving as a doorway. From what I have read there hasn't been significant coverage or information of note to justify USANA's individual products having their own articles. Your additions to the article did not seem to make reference to any sources and in some cases seem to be pulled from previous Wikipedia entries which have since been summarized. For example the previously included 'controversy' section. You also removed the addition of another poster which made reference to a television expose on USANA and their products and replaced it with an unsourced claim which stated the opposite. I'm not going to respond to you sarcastic comments because I have no interest in engaging in a fight with you but if you are interested in knowing where I get my information you can check the references I include with my alterations to the article. I wish you all the best on your school project and would even like to assist you with it if you would like to explain to me what it is you are doing. I would be more than happy to assist you in finding whatever information you require. All the best. Jean314 (talk) 16:24, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
