A tag has been placed on Girl-Next, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Incoherent, sources do not verify content

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Hi DLav87, welcome to Wikipedia! I saw your posts on the article and article talk page of Girl-Next, so I decided to help you out. I've moved the page to Draft:Girl-Next. As a draft, it's not nearly as vulnerable to deletion. You can work on the page there, and when it's ready you can add the text {{subst:submit}} to the top of the page to submit it for review. However, for the article to be accepted you'd have to show that the subject of the article (a compilation CD?) has been written about in depth in reliable, independent sources, for example reviews in newspapers or magazines. If you have more questions, you can try asking at the Teahouse, or connect to Wikipedia's IRC help chat here to get live help. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 23:00, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, P.s., you may get one more deletion notice after this one. That's because when I moved your page, I turned Girl-Next into a Redirect by default. Redirects from the main article space aren't allowed to go to Draft articles, so I'm going to nominate the redirect for deletion. Deleting the redirect won't affect any of your content, which is still safe at Draft:Girl-Next. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 23:00, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Howicus, honestly, if you'd like to help out further I'd appreciate it. This is my first page I've created, and I'm having difficulty with some things. If you could help me out, that'd be fantastic. I'm having issues with the article name, album art etc. When you respond, I'll detail what I need. This "making a full wiki page" is new to me......just learning!!! :)

Ok, what sort of help do you need? I just want to note though, that the most important thing you need is reliable, independent sources that talk about the album in depth. The article won't be approved without them. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 23:15, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have the album art on my desktop.....getting into the article is another issue entirely. The article name should actually be Smackers Presents: Girl Next. Sources might be tricky. I have the booklet here, and all the information is coming from there basically, word for word. Getting other information on this album seems to be harder than I thought it'd be. Feel free to help with sources, if you find anything decent. This article might be a challenge, but I'm up for it!! This album honestly should have it's own page. DLav87

I'm not able to get the album art uploaded.....I tried, to no avail. If you could give me a hand with this, that'd be great. Also could you move this to a new 'draft' page, and rename it "Smackers Presents: Girl Next". I need that done as well, but I can't do it myself yet. Thanks.

I moved it again to Draft:Smackers Presents: Girl Next. I'm...gonna be honest here, I did some searching and I didn't find much in the way of reliable, independent sources that talk about the album in depth. I'm not sure the compilation meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 16:39, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, DLav87. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Smackers Presents: Girl Next".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Boomer VialHolla! We gonna ball! 21:20, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
