DJ Triptonite (aka DJ Dan Jolly) is an English born DJ and producer from East London. He was trained at one of London's leading stage schools, Ravenscourt Theatre School (formerly Corona). DJ Triptonite was an accomplished break dancer and, in the early 90s, it was not uncommon to see him performing his dance routines in East London and Essex where he won a number of local dance competitions. In addition DJ Triptonite's early career included work on children's TV, presenting and other general TV work.

In the mid 90s DJ Triptonite turned his hand to dj-ing and has been given many prime time slots on a number of well known pirate radio stations, including Kool, Origin, Eruption, Addiction, Life, Rude, Dream and Rude Awakening. He competed in the Yabba Dabba Doo ‘Gong Show’ event, mixing and scratching his way to victory and a spot at the next Best of British Drum n Bass rave (where he later became a resident DJ). In addition DJ Triptonite held a number of other residencies at events including Breakin Science, Raindance, and Labrynth. He has also appeared on many other flyers for large scale events including Dreamscape and United Dance.

DJ Triptonite's DJ career has seen him hold down a number of residencies all over London as well as several consecutive seasons in Ibiza. He is the owner of the Sh*t Party Reunion which has held events at SE One, Fire and Area, and co-owns the Drum n Bass label and promotion Dance Concept.

More recently DJ Triptonite has concentrated on music production which he trained for (and came top of his class) at The London School of Sound. His first release was a track called ‘Time is Now’ featuring Stevie Hyper D and which appeared on 'The Legend' album. DJ Triptonite has since been busy in the studio and his latest release 'New Generation' can be found on the 2013 Stevie Hyper D 'Generation Hyper' Album.

After his work on various Stevie Hyper D projects, DJ Triptonite was approached by the late Stevie Hyper D's family to put on a charity event in honour of Hyper D's memory. DJ Triptonite organised and promoted The 'Stevie Hyper D Tribute Rave' which took place at Club Colosseum and which sold out as the biggest Drum n Bass event of 2012.
