File source problem with File:Tita Tamames.jpg

[edit]
File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Tita Tamames.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:48, 27 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 21:48, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Sebastian spreng, delicate balance (songs), oil on canvas, 10 x 10 each.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 02:56, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Susanna Walton

[edit]

The page is now at Susana Walton, which used to be a redirect. Just in case you wondered what was going on… Regards, -- Hebrides (talk) 16:33, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I had to ask an administrator to move it for me, because there was a redirect page already there. Thanks for writing this article. She is definitely worthy of an encyclopaedia article – I've just been reading some of the fascinating obituaries that you have kindly linked to. --Hebrides (talk) 16:41, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hope you don't mind – I removed your photo (which still appears elsewhere in Wikipedia) and replaced it with a photo of the Nymphaeum – her own memorial that she created, with the inscription, "This green arbour is dedicated to Susana, who loved tenderly, worked with passion and believed in immortality". I also managed to find and include a photo of her, with one of her hats, which I've included in the infobox. — Hebrides (talk) 18:15, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks as if the photo of her will be deleted – the uploader to Flickr was less than honest about the copyright and I took it at face value, but the Exif tags tell another story. A pity, because it's a nice photo. — Hebrides (talk) 18:32, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, DEDB. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Sebastian Spreng, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Noticed you added an image of artwork by Sebastian Spreng and stated it was your own work. If this is the case, you have a conflict of interest and need to follow policy. Jooojay (talk) 05:02, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
