Regarding edits to NRG Networks

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page NRG Networks do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' .
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! SquelchBot (talk) 18:43, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on NRG Networks. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 15:55, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the template above. I agree the IPs additions are not valid. Such statements needs sources. I undid the IP edits and warned them about unsourced additions. Regards, P. D. Cook Talk to me! 15:58, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Do you advise I do anything else if they are repeated? DCatNRG (talk) 16:06, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They are blocked now for disruptive editing. If it happens again, consider filing a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. You could also leave a message at Kuru's talk page, the administrator who blocked the IP today. I have NRG Networks on my watchlist, so I'll see if anything happens while I'm logged in. P. D.
