Too right - the worst sort of vandal who reverts randomly and has the audacity to warn others about it when they are nothing but a wrecker themselves. Stay away whoever you are! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.239.78 (talk) 17:07, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

US National Archives collaboration

[edit]
United States National Archives WikiProject
Would you like to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to the National Archives and its incredible collection? This summer, the National Archives—which houses some of America's most important historical documents—is hosting me as its Wikipedian in Residence, and I have created WP:NARA to launch these efforts.

There are all sorts of tasks available for any type of editor, whether you're a writer, organizer, gnome, coder, or image guru. The National Archives is making its resources available to Wikipedia, so help us forge this important relationship! Please sign up and introduce yourself. Dominic·t 15:22, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation Appeal

[edit]
Articles for Creation urgently needs your help!

Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently the are 1026 submissions waiting to be reviewed.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Are you autoconfirmed?
  5. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog.

Correct sockpuppets

[edit]

Howdy, would someone correct the sockpuppets listed on my user page? I'm actually a sockpuppet of New England/Sasha Callahan et al. While I am behind CassidyQ and Justice America, I have no affiliation with MyKungFu. Cheers! DC 20:20, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i promise to be good.

Decline reason:

Concur with Mr. Watson's analysis below; a more comprehensive request is necessary here. Since there has been no response from you for a week, I'm closing this request. Kuru (talk) 14:34, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am generally disposed to be receptive to requests for unblock from editors who have been disruptive in the past, but after a significant time come back and say they will do better. People do change, especially young people, who can grow out of childish ways very dramatically in a few years. However, I think that we need a bit more than "i promise to be good". There is a huge number of accounts that are either known or strongly suspected to be your sockpuppets, those accounts having been blocked at various times from 2006 to 2012 (counting only the ones I have checked: there may be others earlier or later or both.) Can you give us a bit more information about (a) what you think was wrong with your editing in the past, and (b) how it will be different from now on? Also, if you can state clearly what account you last edited from, that will help. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:12, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
