Hello, DBoffey, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as White Laggan Bothy, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on White Laggan Bothy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. White Laggan Bothy

[edit]

It's just too small to stay where it is. So I've userfied it for you. It's now at User:DBoffey/White Laggan Bothy, once you have finished adding data, then just move it back.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

About the Bothies articles you created

[edit]

Hey, I saw you created articles for six bothies. However, articles in wikipedia must meet our notability guidelines and I assume the individual bothies don't have "substantial coverage in independent reliable sources". Based on this I want propose the articles for deletion, but thought I would discuss it with you first. Yoenit (talk) 22:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see an admin already moved one of the articles to your userspace, I shall ask him to do the same for the others. Yoenit (talk) 22:32, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Articles now at

You should now be able to work on them without problems of them getting deletion requests - only the "G" and "U" types of WP:CSD can be used (if appropriate), once you move them back then the range of "A" types can be used.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:34, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your help desk question

[edit]

Did you find an answer to the question you asked below this one? I can't link to the question you asked without someone explaining how. No one answered on the Help Desk but it looks like you asked a similar question at the Teahouse. If you haven't found the answer, WP:VPT may be the place to ask.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 23:02, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Her Benny (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Disambiguation page not required (WP:ONEOTHER). Primary topic article has a hatnote to the only other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
