- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}

Request reason:
I am on my school's wifi, that is why my Ip address is the same as other usersDA9523 (talk) 16:30, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Technical evidence would suggest that there is more to this than merely a shared institutional IP, although that also seems apparent from just looking at the usernames involved (DA9523, AG5263, AG9524, Ag6526, AG9525). I am declining this request. --Blablubbs (talk) 18:00, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:
All AG Accounts are the same person while our school gives us our own school emails, with our initials and 4/5 numbers. We also have "stu" for student in front of all of our emails. These other students are also most likely on school computers, so the IP addresses are close DA9523 (talk) 19:25, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This has nothing to do with your emails. Yamla (talk) 21:33, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am still unaware of why I am being blocked. After reviewing the rules, I have found my account infracted to nothing. Would there be a way for me to edit while at home? I have not committed any acts of Vandalism or other bannable offences and I am not the same person as "AG9524", So there's no reason for this account to be banned DA9523 (talk) 13:11, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
My use of the checkuser tool confirms that you have abused multiple accounts. PhilKnight (talk) 09:53, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

What abuse have I committed? DA9523 (talk) 14:17, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- You are Confirmed to AG5263 and AG9524. PhilKnight (talk) 15:22, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
I do infact know AG, but I am not him. I don't know a way I can prove that I'm not him. Do you have any ideas? DA9523 (talk) 17:01, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]You need a better explanation for your ban than just "I am not the same person as AG9524" or ese it is gonna get rejected again and you won't even be able to edit your talk page. MasterMatt12 (talk) 14:31, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- What else might I say? I have not been responsible for any violations. My account is clean DA9523 (talk) 14:58, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
I once again pleading for help in order to be unblocked. I understand that I may have been involved with another user on this platform, but I will once again state that while this user did have several accounts, mine is not one of them. Our usernames are our school emails, meaning that they are our initials, theirs being Ag and mine being Da. Is there anything I can do to prove my innocence or to have the sockpuppet tag removed while still being blocked? DA9523 (talk) 19:35, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Repeating the same declined reason and expecting a different result is not a good strategy. 331dot (talk) 17:34, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

I'm being completely honest, my abuse log is completely empty and this account has not committed any misinformed edits. What way could I be reinstated or at the very least have my user page restored while still being blocked?
- I'm not a checkuser, but I don't really see a pathway forward here. 331dot (talk) 19:48, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
