User talk:D4rk0
Please stop adding your own inventions to Wikipedia; they violate the ban on original research, among other policies. In particular, please stop recreating Ockham's proof of God; if you recreate it again, I will have to nominate it for formal deletion by community consensus, which will just waste everyone's time. Melchoir 10:16, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
In fact, I think it's too late for Skux, so here we go... Melchoir 10:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 04:22, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for experimenting with the page Donnie Darko on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Melchoir 04:22, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages as it is considered vandalism. You may comment at the respective page if you oppose an article's deletion. Thanks. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 04:28, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Be warned you are already in violation of the three-revert rule. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 04:29, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia
[edit]Your nonsense might be welcome at Uncyclopedia. It is not welcome here. Please stop. Melchoir 07:44, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
After blanking
[edit]Nice blank. --Dunlevyd 10:28, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Please be aware that blanking anyone's talk page, especially your own, is considered vandalism. If you cause trouble again, I will have to restore the deleted comments as proof of other users' reactions to your past actions. Melchoir 11:49, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 20:58, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
You need to calm down yourself. See you later. — Mar. 13, '06 [21:06] <freakofnurxture|talk>
From my talk page
[edit]There is no such thing as "your" article. I care because we here at Wikipedia work very hard to maintain a level of respectability, and the inclusion of juvenile nonsense cheapens the entire project. There are ways to find articles that you may not be aware of; for example, even if no one looks for Pisslips, someone still might find it through the "Random article" tool. And Crystal Stuart, which I saw you attempt to redirect to slut-- seriously, what were you thinking?-- would have appeared quite prominently on that page's "What links here" feature. The only place to have harmless fun on Wikipedia is the Sandbox; if you really can't control the urge to generate nonsense, but you don't want to harm the hard work of strangers, please go there. If you insist on continuing to cause trouble outside of the Sandbox, you will have to accept that you are a vandal, and you should prepare to be blocked from editing. Melchoir 21:08, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Note
[edit]Please do not submit random useless crap to Wikipedia. No matter how funny you think it is, no one will ever see it except the administrator who deletes it, so you've wasted your own time as well.
If you still need to be funny, you might want to check out Uncyclopedia instead. Thank you. DS 02:05, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Michael Moughan
[edit]You've made Michael Moughan a hoax copy of Lloyd Roffe; I've nominated it for speedy deletion. Seriously, knock it off. I'll restore your talk page history now. Melchoir 08:51, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Are you surprised?
[edit]Look, the human filters on Wikipedia are not perfect, and you are not making our job any easier. Thank you for pointing out the vandal ENGRWC2003. Is there anyone else I should know about? Melchoir 09:27, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- And why would you remove the deletion notice from Michael Moughan?! Melchoir 09:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Final warning
[edit]This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to William of Ockham, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Melchoir 09:30, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Nah, thats all
[edit]Well, thank you for relenting, and thank goodness that's over! You know, if you're really that interested in Wikipedia's immune system, perhaps you'd like to help out? If one more person had been monitoring Special:Newpages when Lloyd Roffe had been created, it might not have stayed for so long! Melchoir 23:23, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Great! The practice of monitoring recent changes is called RC patrol, of which New Pages patrol is a subfield. People who are especialy interested in combating vandalism sometimes join with the Counter Vandalism Unit, but I'm not an expert on that. The central page for policy information and dealing with vandalism is Wikipedia:Vandalism.
Of course, just dealing with vandalism is a generally thankless and negative task, and while there are a few Wikipedians who specialize in it, I don't think too many do. For example, at the same time as I mark bad articles for deletion, I try to spend time fixing up clumsily written but worthwhile new articles and welcoming their authors. The standard welcome template has lots of helpful information, so I should shove one on you as well:
Welcome!

10 October 2006 edits of Extraordinary rendition
[edit]Your 10 October 2006 edits of Extraordinary rendition might have been OK on a Talk page, but not in an article. Especially the signature insertion. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -Wookipedian 01:19, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
