Your Sig

Regardless of compliance with WP:SIG, and regardless if you've "worked it out" with other editors it's still a garish mess! But I understand your comment that it's not relevant to the RFA you have opined on (which I assume is what you meant) - not that I said it was, mind. I'd personally still work on toning it down a bit. FWIW my thoughts are that the louder the signature, the less value there is likely to be in the comments that precede it. Pedro :  Chat  21:24, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Please understand the signature changes color depending on my online status. It uses standard HTML colors. You may click here to see why and when they change colors.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 21:27, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Um, thanks, I do understand it. I just don't really see the need for it. However up to you. Pedro :  Chat  21:55, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
And BTW the current yellow on grey configuration on your talk is a really a bad combination for those blessed with less than perfect colour vision!! Pedro :  Chat  21:57, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Noted. I will find another color to fix this problem. Since I am currently busy with the holidays and other school work, I won't be able to get to it at this time.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 21:59, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
How about #edc100, or gold? →Στc. 00:06, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

How about getting rid of the status indication? It's clever (maybe) but really not that helpful. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 00:13, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

I like the status indicator and isn't really violating policies. I will use gold.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 00:13, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
 Donecyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 00:16, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
If I were you, I would wrap the link to your userpage around "cyber" and talkpage around "power" and get rid of the gold parts completely ... now that would be awesome, even with the current red/green combo :-) (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 00:54, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
I have thought about that but, it doesn't provide the purpose I want it to have. The red/green combo is my Christmas signature. My standard signature is just green. My Thanksgiving signature is brown, my valentine signature is pink, my Halloween signature is orange/black, my Easter signature is a mixture of cheerful colors and my USA signature is Red, Grey, and Blue. You are free to propose a new signature under User:Cyberpower678/SignatureDraft.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 01:15, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Another tip

Please limit the questions at an RfA to one. Four questions is highly excessive. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 22:18, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Oops.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 22:19, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

RfA

Hi. I understand your enthusiasm for wanting to get involved in meta matters, but forgive me for asking why you think asking so many questions at RfA is constructive. Perhaps it might be better to ask just one or two simple ones and let some other editors ask questions. Oh, and PLEASE do something about your yellow signature - what you see on your browser on your computer is not what others are seeing and it can't be read on normal white pages. Happy holidays! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:43, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Please see previous discussions.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 23:45, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
If you want to vote at RfA, please do it without disrupting the numbering system. Please change the yellow script in your signature before someone else does it for you. It cannot be read except on you own compter, and is WP:Disruptive. Thanks. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 04:20, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

My RfA

I've added some more to question two that I forgot. This may influence your neutral !vote. Buggie111 (talk) 04:43, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Nac template

Hi Cyberpower678, I noticed you have been answering requests on the various permissions pages. Without commenting on that, I thought you might like to know that the non-admin closure template and the essay on non-admin closures, as you have been using, both refer to deletion discussions, and AfDs in particular, rather than any type of non-admin closure. Best. Acalamari 12:16, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Thank you. I didn't know that. I will inform myself about when to use {{nac}} templates.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 14:55, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
It's no big deal, but definitely something to be aware of. Merry Christmas! Acalamari 15:11, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas as well.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 15:58, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

You're not an Administrator

Why are you closing requests like this [1] ? You are not an admin and user BWilkins has tried to point this out in a nice way Here, making observations is fine, marking a request {{already done}} is OK when it fits but, {{not done}} on a request that has a one edit is not your place to make a final decision, these are not RfA's. Mlpearc powwow 22:50, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

I am merely trying to help out. If you wish me to not close as  Not done, I will no longer do it. Those closes made sense to me and you do not need to be an administrator to close something that can obviously be closed.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 01:53, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Helping out is great, that is also what I do. I'm just trying to to point out that closing a request that still needs time or edits to become confirmed need to be closed by Admins. For instance the example above, you closed less than an hour after a Admin posted a question for the requester, the only time I would do anything with that request is if there was no response after six or seven days then I would consider {{not done}} due to no response. Mostly the only time I consider making a closing comment is if the requester is already confirmed or for no response. Your help is welcome and appreciated but, at the same time we can not get in the way with administrative duties. Hope to see you at WP:PERM. Cheers, Mlpearc powwow 04:49, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Then maybe you would like to sanction...

This user for doing all of the above. As BWilkins apparently thought it was a laughing matter. Twafotfs (talk) 12:42, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

I guess not. Twafotfs (talk) 13:05, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict)I am not an admin. I am merely a Rollbacker. I have no power and I am not at liberty to settle this. If you would like you may talk to User talk:Xeno or User talk:WilliamH for they have one of the highest ranks in Wikipedia.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 13:06, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
OK, thanks a lot. Twafotfs (talk) 13:27, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
There's no hierarchy around here :-) Forum-shopping won't help. You'd have been wise/intelligent to wait for a reply to me ... indeed, you're doing exactly the same type of kneejerk reaction that led to filing an ANI in the first place. Patience is a virtue - in an encyclopedia that's edited by people from every timezone, it's vital. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:44, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Confirming ACC

I am hereby confirming that I wish to have an ACC account creation interface account.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 19:22, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Your application has been declined as you do not satisfy the first qualification. You had to appeal a block to the Ban Appeals Sub-Committee just over a month ago. That would mean it is both within the past 6 months and of some serious nature. Depending on what it is the brought about the block i recommend requesting a review maybe in June or not ever. In the mean time i suggest you familiarise yourself with the workings of Wikipedia in variety of corners because creating accounts for people sometimes involves answering their initial queries about almost anything. delirious & lost~hugs~ 00:53, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the time to review. This result does not at all surprise me.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 00:59, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi Cyberpower, WP:NOTNOW is really intended for use when a new editor accidentally stumbles on WP:RFA without really knowing what it's all about. User:SpeakFree had 14,577 edits, 206 article creations (one GA) and registered in September 2010. It's a safe bet he understands the idea of adminship. Have a read of Wikipedia:When not to link to WP:NOTNOW Catfish Jim and the soapdish 19:25, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the info.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 19:31, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Mentoring

Hi Cyberpower, I've created a page explicitly for the purpose of mentoring at User talk:Cyberpower678/Mentoring. First question is posted there. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 21:36, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

 Answeredcyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 22:12, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Okay, good. I've moved this to User talk:Catfish Jim and the soapdish/Cyberpower678/Mentoring as the layout was getting in the way. Put it in your watchlist and I'll pose questions from time to time. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 23:45, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
I see you ran into my impersonation barrier. It's triggered when the page that belongs to me isn't in my userspace.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 23:59, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Mentoring

Did you place the page on your watchlist? Catfish Jim and the soapdish 10:46, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Yes. The page you want me to read is so big, I haven't gotten around to reading it.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 11:13, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm curious why you increased the level of your "stress meter" the moment after you replied to me. If you're finding being mentored stressful, we can stop now. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 12:37, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Coincidence. I have so much going on in real life that it's overwhelming me. First off, I have to get ready for college, on top of that, I am about to take a vacation in Switzerland which means I have to makeup work and I'm trying to get it done before my vacation. I also accumulated an unnecessary amount of userspace edits for nothing in trying out an experiment. I also have to do a lot of other stuff. I meant to update this yesterday. It's also why I haven't been able to read the page you want me to read. I do have it open though in your browser.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 14:56, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

There's no hurry. Wikipedia isn't important in comparison to real life things like college. I was just checking you had seen it. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 15:08, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Your signature

Hi. I'm just wondering of you aware that your signature is not displaying a time/date stamp. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:54, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

When signing in RfA's I don't use timestamps except for when I am commenting on certain comments or votes.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 13:09, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
You should use a timestamp in all discussions, as it allows readers to place it chronologically relative to other posts. The only time you should really consider using the three tilde signature is for general statements (i.e. not in discussions) in your own user space. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 13:19, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Indeed, and also for your question on my talk page - I gave up... it didn't seem worth it. WormTT · (talk) 13:22, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Will do next time. Worm, thanks for trying, I gave up myself. I would need a parser function that doesn't exist yet.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 13:39, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks!

Just writing here...I do appreciate the advice you gave on my application for adminship. Actually the process wasn't as painful as it could have been, some of the feedback can be...errrh..tumultuous to say the least. Anyways, I'm looking at broadening the things I do on Wikipedia, so i'll leave it a while, as people have suggested, and re apply again if I see the need. Cheers! Deathlibrarian (talk) 22:36, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Nominator's struck vote

Hi! Just for clarification, I did not strike the nominator's vote; that was done by the nominator - I believe it is all related to the discussion about whether or not the nominator should have tweeted for support. He voluntarily removed his vote, but did not indent it which meant his vote still counted. I indented his vote so it would not register in the count.

As a separate issue, one user voted oppose in the support section, which I struck through. That was since reverted by that user, and I added clarification that he meant support underneath.

I will revert both edits, as the nominator meant to remove his vote, and (in the case of the oppose vote) it is now implied that it was he who wrote "sarcastic oppose" rather than "oppose". Stephen! Coming... 22:23, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Looks like someone else beat me to it! Stephen! Coming... 22:25, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Got it. Thank you. The strikeout done by a different person seemed a bit strange to me.—cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 07:26, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Status indicator

Is your status indicator automatic and if so is it something I can do easily I'm not overly technical with code. Edinburgh Wanderer 15:21, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

A fully automated template is impossible unless there were a bot integrated into your account. I have semi-automated stutus template that changes according to the color of my signature and to what is displayed on my wiki stress meter. I can build a few templates that you can change manually.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 511,977,539) 22:10, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
Thats a shame I've always thought they were a good idea but didn't want to have to make an edit to the page every time i logged in or out. Your user pages are really good wish i was up to that. Edinburgh Wanderer 17:45, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
There may be a chance that you could have an automated indicator. Goto {{statustop}}. I think User:Xeno programmed a Java Script code to automate the edits.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 512,393,488) 22:46, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your help ill have a look in the morning. Edinburgh Wanderer 22:51, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Your Talk Page

I just clicked in from another page, and your entire talk page is blinking. This does not make your talk page a very pleasant place to visit. I might recommend, partially because there may be epileptic users visiting, to turn that off. If you are unsure of how, please visit my talk page and I'll try to help. Probably a setting on the browser shame would like to have seen what it was doing.Edinburgh Wanderer 22:57, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict)When writing the <div> parameter, I forgot to add a </div> tag thus spreading the blinking to my entire talk page instead of confining it to just the status. Edinburgh, just take <div style="text-decoration:blink">, and place it on the top of your talk page and view it with Firefox. You'll see what my talk page was doing with the header.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 513,206,690) 23:13, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Whatever happened, I can confirm that it's working as intended now. The second blanking I did of the page segment was when this entire talk page became centered and blinking, and I was urging testing on another page with my last comment. I'm glad to see it appears to be working now and am not touching the segment at this time. CycloneGU (talk) 23:14, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

About the (only) official language of Tunisia.

Sorry about my unintentional clumsy and destructive removal. I messed it up. However, Italian, Turkish and French are not the official languages and their removal was correct. Only Arabic is the official language of Tunisia. And Italian and Turkish are not used as foreign languages among the population (the presence of Italians and Turks is negligible, due to their tiny numbers) and, only French is widespread, but is not official. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.224.7.220 (talk) 01:33, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that, it appears that revert shouldn't have happened in the first place. It looks like my finger slipped without me noticing. it was a miss click. So sorry but there was no need to bite it was a simple mistake and I apologise. All you had to do was ask or wait until I realised but given I'm using an iPad it's very easy done and I would of realised always do. Edinburgh Wanderer 01:37, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

No problem, I kind of figured because it happens to me when I use my iPhone. When nothing happened after a while, I reverted and sent you a little nudge. Sorry about the tone. Hi, I just received a message from you (it came up at the top saying 'you have a new message') about Rfas and a changing IP address. Just to let you know, I haven't ever written on wikipedia, and have no idea what Rfas are or anything like that. Is this a mistake or is it someone somehow using my IP address? It appears that this rather a case of me accidentally clicking on the ARV link in the Twinkle Menu this morning and a possibility that Twinkle glitched and filed an empty report even though it gave me the "You don't want to report yourself do you?" message. I am hereby requesting the block be lifted from my account. I do concur that this edit is strange and am asking myself why Twinkle did that but a Check User can verify that only AT&T IP addresses should have been made. These edits are localized in Florida. I am currently in Florida and am using my mobile provider to edit Wikipedia. If there is an IP other than the ones from AT&T in the last 24h, this account may remain blocked. Thank for your time.

Vandalism report

You appear to be reporting yourself on AIV for vandalism. What did you actually mean to do? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 16:11, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

That should not have happened. It appears Twinkle glitched. BTW, would you like me to set up MiszaBot III for you? You won't have to archive manually.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 514,697,581) 00:40, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the offer; I prefer to do it manually, as it allows me to be selective in what and when I retain items, and where. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:08, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited List of Pokémon: Black & White: Rival Destinies episodes, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Iris and Cilan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I refactored your comment

Because it had mismatched HTML tags and broke the subsequent section. Also, one <small> is enough, if you nest them people will find the text too hard to read. 28bytes (talk) 22:38, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

That was the purpose of the text. It's not supposed to be read easily. It's a fine print that should be stated but not seen.cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 22:40, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Regardless, you had </small></small></small><small>, where the last one was an opening tag, not a closing tag, which made Jeff's answer two sizes too small. 28bytes (talk) 22:42, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Oops. It's amazing what a typo can do. I fixed it.cyberpower (Talk to Me)(Contributions) 22:46, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Christine, it's usually best if the candidate transcludes it themselves -- not least because that way, you'll be around when the first editors see it and can respond to the first questions without much delay.

Tip

Hi, speaking of signatures, I really recommend you change yours. I don't have any sight problems at all, but pale pink and yellow on the white background is extremely difficult to read, and for visually-impaired people it's going to be totally illegible. I think you should consider using more contrasting colours. :) WilliamH (talk) 22:18, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

(ec) No, I think all tasks that are still found useful will be brought back eventually. As far as I can tell only two tasks have not been replaced yet, the badimage task and the stats tasks. Amalthea 16:19, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
The code for RfX Tally and report is ready, as well as Adminstats and other tasks that were previously performed by SoxBot. I am working out some code that may be potential problems or bugs for the bot. After all, this is a rework of X!'s code.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,486,907) 16:24, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Are you writing me a novel?

Lol are you writing a novel? I really do appreciate you spending all this time but you needn't waste your time. I can guess at what it says. I should calm down, take a break, forget the past and come back and start fresh. I'm ruining all the good things I've done with the bad from the last couple days. Or something to that effect. Its ok. --Kumioko (talk) 02:23, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

I guess you could say I am writing you a novel. I'll just skip to it. You are an excellent contributor to Wikipedia when it comes to content work. Policies are there and apply to everyone and if they violate them, they face the consequences. I know a user who was a former admin who lost their right as an admin for violating policy so you can't people do what they want. What initially got my attention is that you made a pointless vote that will hurt the candidate's RfA and the reason for the vote has nothing to do with the candidate itself. An RfA or RfB is about the community voting to see if is a fit to be admin or not. It doesn't matter if there is too many or too little admins, the voting reason needs to be about the candidate and their abilities. Saying "Sorry we have too many as is" (which I believe 1600 out of 15000000 users is not too a lot where 16 of those are Bureaucrats) does not say anything the candidate and which is why you encountered resistance with that vote and was referred to WP:POINT. It is not the intention of anybody to pick on you or drive you from this project. Your bots can be reinstated if the malfunction is fixed if you want. I am going to leave it at that for now. BTW, you're assumption of what I was going to say was incorrect. You are seeing things from a wrong perspective. Don't start fresh, continue your work now, maybe let a user adopt you to help you out through WIkipedia to get you on the right path. I can definitely tell that you mean well. Check out WP:ADOPT for more information on this. You also aren't ruining the project.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,391,126) 02:34, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
If you read my comments at the ANI, or Village pump policy it wasn't the coding of the bot. I'm just fed up with being shit on by the community. I've been trying to do the right thing for the last 6 years and when some editor comes along pushing POV and violating policy they ignore it and block me. Its completely ridiculous. Wikipedia doesn't want contributing members they want drama queens and the more drama the better. I submitted 3 users to ANI last year alone for article ownership, harrasment and other reasons and I was told I was out of line. Then a few days ago I had one of the same users that was showing article ownership issues again and leaving harrassing comments on my page, my bots talk page and his own page and I get blocked. So I frankly dont care about being a significant contributor. I'll still make an edit or 2 here and there but I'll just muck about in discussions for a while since that seems to be what the community is about and what they find important here these days. Blogging in discussions. And although I know you mean well I don't need adopting. I know all the policies (having helped draft several), I have over 300, 000 edits, have a pile of Featured content, etc. etc. so to say I need a mentor frankly is insulting. Its silly although I know you mean well and didn't mean it that way. --Kumioko (talk) 02:45, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
I don't see a lot of drama here on Wikipedia. Well I tried to keep you here and apologize for insulting you. Good luck. Drop by and say hi every once in a while.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,392,998) 02:49, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
LOL you must not get out much then. I saw it almost everyday when I was managing WPUS I just chose to work around it or ignore it most of the time. Even when I reverted vandals I didn't even bother to leave messages on their talk pages because then I get messages that I am being bitey or rude or whatever...using the canned responses built into Twinkle! I just reverted it and kept going. The most common places, which also lends to the comments made on those RFA's are the admin boards. Nothing but a bunch of old hens clucking about this or that. Quite a few rarely do an edit, just blog, gripe and whine in discussions. They can block someone with speed but couldn't write an FA to save their life. Most could even get a decent B. And yet still, I'm the one that gets kicked to the curb because I'm trying to make a difference with WPUS and I'm not, nor do I want to be and Admin. Its nothing but drama from start to finish. The process starts in a blaze of fire and brimstone and the whole time you have to duck and cover to keep from getting gunned down. NOT WORTH IT, just to be able to edit a protected article or move a file. --Kumioko (talk) 03:15, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
I haven't received drama from those areas. I try to do as much as I can these days but writing a replacement bot is eating at my time. I think your problem is your not defending yourself in a position. I am going to bed now. I am hoping you're still here long enough that I can still talk to you tomorrow morning if need be. Goog night. Busy day for me tomorrow.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,396,842) 03:22, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
(lurker comment) i would second kumioko's drama comment. there seems to be an attitude of management through drama. there seems to be a systemic bias in twinkle to tag or delete material rather than improve it. the material writers get micromanaged. there seems to be a lot of ordering and not much coaching. it's pretty funny when the 90 day wonders talk to a real grognard. there are circles of competence, but it's increasingly hard to ignore the noise. Adminstats

Hi - please don't add superfluous text to the adminstats template. The templates are used in various complex ways, (see the raw style sheets for example), and adding plain text causes calculation errors. It may be possible to add the text to the default style page, but please test this first.  An optimist on the run! 22:13, 18 February 2012 (UTC) Could you show me a raw style sheet? I'm not quite following.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,549,038) 22:20, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

See for example {{adminstats|Optimist on the run|style=raw edit}}, using Template:Adminstats/raw edit, which gives . Raw text in the adminstats template comes out before the value, and causes errors in calculations.  An optimist on the run! 22:26, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Best of luck, Cyberpower678. If you would like some help in working on your bots, the people in the #mediawiki or #pywikipediabot IRC channels might be able to help. And there are folks there who might be interested in apprenticing and learning these codebases, so in the long run, you don't have to be the only maintainer! Sumanah (talk) 16:09, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
I'll put a note up on my talk and see if any of my stalkers either could lend a hand, or want to learn, or know anyone else who might. Pesky (talk) 07:05, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
I saw Pesky's note. If there is any way I can help out, I'm game. I have run AWB bots, but nothing on toolserver. My past life I was a Linux Admin who also coded in Perl, FORTRAN (yes, meteorology still uses it) and ran/coded a large MYSQL database. Brain damage forced me out, but I can still "function". I can be your Padawan if you would like. Just don't believe what Pesky says about me. Bgwhite (talk) 08:11, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Bgwhite, here's a place to start learning, if you've never written any code that interacts with the MediaWiki API: MediaWiki API intro. Sumanah (talk) 12:18, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
No I meant toolserver isn't cooperating. Nightshade seems to be down.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,840,320) 12:21, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Cyberpower, Pesky says you're feeling down (I have that thermometer at level 3, myself!) While I am useless at things like bot scripts, I just wanted to pop by out of the blue and reassure you that whatever is going on, it isn't just you. It's February on Wikipedia, and I swear that the whole place suffers from either cabin fever or seasonal affective disorder. Every year the drama seems to escalate from about mid-January to mid-March, easing off a bit after the equinox. So deep breaths, make no irrevokable decisions, and know you are not alone in this crazy boat! Montanabw(talk) 17:50, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. As soon as I get the bots running, I'm leaving for a good.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,939,844) 22:33, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
