Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Curtisdickman. Doc, why don't you just open a COI edit request on the talk page for your article? I would be glad to perform the edits for you if you're adding stuff with citations to reliable sources -- editing it yourself is probably just going to get you blocked and reverted. jp×g 22:43, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- Curtisdickman I have reverted your recent edits. Unsourced information should not be added to a WP:BLP, plus Wikipedia is not the place for a long list of academic papers as it looks like WP:PROMO. If you are Curtis Dickman I suggest you declare your WP:COI as JPxG outlined above, and propose requested edits to the article talk page rather than making them yourself. Thank you Kj Cheetham. I didn't realize the restriction and I regret violating the policy. My page has been dormant for a long time and I wanted to add facts about my career and life that are important. I was planning on adding reliable sources of the facts after I added the content, but it was removed before I had an opportunity to revise it.

Thank you for your understanding. The information is still in the Revision history if you need to consult it, but large lists of publications are generally not suitable for Wikipedia even if referenced for instance.
