Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Larnell Cole, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Your opinion of AI on Wikipedia?
Hi @CurtNeiMeng:
It looks like you’ve been editing on Wikipedia for a while. Welcome! I’m a researcher working on Wikipedia algorithms and artificial intelligences (AIs). Maybe it seems a little random to hear from someone like me…if you’ve only been here for a little while, why would we care about your opinion?
You may or may not be aware of them, but the algorithms that operate on Wikipedia affect new editors like you in very important ways. Even if you’ve only made a few edits, we really need to understand how you feel about your initial experiences -- good or bad -- so that we can make sure that the AIs we build in the future do what users like you want them to do.
Would you consider talking with me briefly about AI on Wikipedia? I will send you a $15 Amazon gift card to say thanks. Reply to this message here or send me an email at smit3694@umn.edu and I can share more info and plan a time to connect.

Orphaned non-free image File:Nei Mongol Zhongyou.png
Thanks for uploading File:Nei Mongol Zhongyou.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:41, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

And I OOP SKSKSKSKSK
So the jtwc screen I see does not at all show 10 minute sustained winds it doesn’t show wind. I use 1 minute sustained because that’s the regular sustained wind speed. That’s why nhc says 1 min and not 10 min because it’s the top sustained/max wind Procyclone25 (talk) 20:03, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Procyclone25: Maybe so, but as User:KN2731 explained on your talk page, Wikipedia follows the methods of the Japan Meteorological Agency. The reason for this has already been explained to you on your talk page. Should you continue to edit pages to replace the information provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency, you may face losing your editing privileges. So I would recommend you now avoid this, as you've already had two warnings. Additionally, might I add, that the title you use on talk page discussions should have some relevance to what your saying if you want to be taken seriously. I'm willing to give you a chance as I still believe your edits are in good faith, though misguided. Many other users would have simply ignored a talk page message with a title like this. Do you know what a vsco girl is? And how do you stop people from Editing, add bots and also revert Incase I need to use those things Procyclone25 (talk) 20:15, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

nine inch nails the perfect drug music video
I thought it was relevant to include a link to the music video because it had been largely unavailable to watch until like 4 months ago... Music Video — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:1304:E177:C8DD:22E:3EF7:230C (talk) 20:04, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

Relevant, sure. But not encyclopedic. We try not to link to YouTube Music Videos within the text of an article. You're free to use YouTube videos as a citation, but only if they follow the strict rules outlined here here. If you want to know more about citing sources, you can read about that here. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask away.Curt内蒙 20:13, 18 September 2019 (UTC)- Whoops, scratch that. Took another look at your edit and it doesn't actually seem you did anything wrong. My mistake. I'll revert back to your revision now! Curt内蒙 20:17, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

I added 'white supremacist' in reference to Roger Pearson , not William Shockley. The Wikipedia page on Roger Pearson clearly states he holds white supremacist views, so I'm not sure why you think Wikipedia itself isn't a 'reliable source'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmschilling (talk • contribs) 20:51, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a reliable source, as per WP:WINARS. This is not my independent thought, but that set out by the community. Moreover, your edit did not seem to add anything to the encyclopedic nature of the article and read awkwardly. It's generally best to keep the adjectives describing a secondary subject within an article to a minimum. Should someone wish to learn more about the secondary subject in question, they can click through to read more.
- As Wikipedia primary describes Pearson as an 'anthropologist' (as per the lead section of his page), not 'white supremacist', it makes more sense to use this description when discussing him outside his own article space. Curt 内蒙 21:43, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi Curt. Thank you for your interest in the way our users become administrators. You may like to continue to support the RfA process with your votes in the future, so you will find WP:RFAV an interesting and very useful read. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:41, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Hello from Portugal,
care to point out the vandalism or poor edit i made in this player's article? Situation has already been reported, in the mean time you and the other editor(s) can have your way.
Attentively --Quite A Character (talk) 20:50, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Quite A Character: Your edit was not vandalism. In reverting your edit, I made it clear that it was reverted under good faith. The reason I, and I would assume, others have reverted said edits is because they are simply unnecessary. The paragraph above the one you are editing clearly states that the player plays for Everton. There is no reason to mention this again in the header. The details around this players move to Everton are discussed in the body of the article. The header should be viewed as an outline, not a place to really delve into detail.
- If you have made this edit a number of times, and each time it has been reverted, I suggest its best to just forget it. Else, you run the risk of 'edit warring', and may lose your editing privileges
- Thanks, and feel free to leave another message if you have any questions. Curt 内蒙 21:09, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
Nope, with all due respect when a player spends as much time as Mr. Gomes at a club (two seasons and counting now), it's perfectly OK to add it to intro even if at present they are still plying their trade at X or Y club. Like i said no worries, i wait to see what the admin has to say about the subject. --Quite A Character (talk) 22:08, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite: was briefed on the situation, issued no reply whatsoever. Same has happened in my last couple of messages, for reasons that elude me. I just redirected them to your page to see if they want to inform you of something, i leave with the promise of not editing anything in that pertinent part of the article again, and thank you both for your time. --Quite A Character (talk) 01:46, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
I have now received a reply, user/admin says it's OK to write that bit in intro given the extent of time player has now spent in club (please read this https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Mattythewhite#Andr%C3%A9_Gomes). But I'm not reinstating anything again, no siree, WP:BURDEN not mine anymore!
Attentively --Quite A Character (talk) 13:45, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- That's great! Happy editing!
- Atenciosamente! Curt 内蒙 18:56, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
Thanks a million for the reply! Newsflash, :@Ymblanter: and i interacted a bit (as one should here) and they explained i was caught in a whirlwind of bad edits (aka vandalism), thus my edits were not being accepted. But both them and the administrator above concurred it was 100% OK to reinstate the intro info, and so i did; hopefully that will not be an inconvenience to you.
Happy editing to you as well, continue the good work --Quite A Character (talk) 20:13, 6 November 2019 (UTC)

The article Inner Mongolia Exhibition Hall station has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Less Unless (talk) 14:55, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

You've never been to the Chicago area - have you?
Please restore the content on the North Shore Channel. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.44.72 (talk) 21:48, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- You're right, I have never been to Chicago! I have no idea whether the content you have added to the article is true or not. That's exactly why we need to add citations! Otherwise, Wikipedia would just consist of 'take my word for it'.
- You're welcome to restore the content you added to the article, but you need to add a reference to back it up. Feel free to ask me for anymore information.
It links to additional Wikipedia information. Please mind your own business. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.44.72 (talk) 23:00, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
Merrill Academy Page
Hi there,
I was wondering if you could explain why a large amount of content was removed from the Merrill Academy page? The content had been on the page for a number of years and had never been removed during this time. Furthermore, the information added to the page was added by a senior employee of Merrill Academy.
Lastly, if the information was removed for being outsourced, then why has the Senior Leadership Team section been kept on the page and not removed as well?
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:4C8:C51:A14D:1:2:DD37:C618 (talk) 18:52, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi there.
- I did not remove any content, per se, from said article. But I did indeed revert your edit. As stated above, this is because I saw a large body of text added with no citations.
- Based on your comment, I would assume that the content was originally removed by another user at some point prior to you re-adding it to the article today. As that user did not give you a reason why, I can't really answer your question as to why it was removed initially, I'm afraid.
- Sorry I could not be of more help. But, a word of advice, any non-minor edits that take place on wikipedia, without any citations, will more than likely trigger a response and will more often than not be removed for failing to provide a reliable source.
- Should you wish to re-upload the content and avoid it being reverted once more, it would be best to include some citations to back it up. That way, you minimise the risk of the content being lost again.
- Thanks, and feel free to contact me again with any questions!

EastMed pipeline I think you are interested about the article. There are errors in the picture I found in this article. In the information box to the left of the picture, the phrase "only establishment recognized by GNA United Nations" should be added. And GNA is Libya's only speaker. Map cannot show Libya as fragmented. I would like to remind you again. Libya is an indivisible whole, and the Sarraj Government (GNA) is the only government recognized by the United Nations. To re-add the map, I need your support in this update. Thank you. --81.215.130.161 (talk) 00:11, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- @81.215.130.161: Hi there, thanks for the message. Unfortunately, this is not an area of expertise for me. I reverted your edit because it added information, but did not include a citation to back the claim up; not because this is a topic I am particularly read up on, I'm afraid. I'm sorry that I can't be of more help, but having read through the history of the current map in use, it seems like quite a controversial topic, with a certain amount of edit warring going on. Might I suggest recommending the edit on either the talk page of the article itself, or on the Wikimedia Commons talk page for user MGA73, who was the last person to revert the map to its current state. Best of luck! Curt 内蒙 09:59, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello, CurtNeiMeng,
Tagging the talk page of an image for deletion does not delete the image and there is no reason to delete the talk page of an existing file.
If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:55, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Liz: Apologies! I had attempted to tag the image (which I had uploaded myself) as it is a non-free image that is no longer in use on any articles. I tried to do so on my phone, but was unable to edit the image page itself, receving a message along the lines of 'Please upload image first'. I will try again on my computer.
