[edit]Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Somnath temple, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 21:00, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Somnath temple, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Packer&Tracker (talk) 06:52, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

That edits is based on what historian views are about it and not any other historian has mentioned similar views. It might be right about the views on Somnath but still it is not well accepted facts and based on Wikipedia rules of NPOV that is neural point of view, the edits was done to attributes the views. And still it is based on the findings of the Historian books and citation about that statement is also attached to the end of statement. So that edits was just a to give neutrality on the page. [edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Indian religions, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Hello, I'm Pipe058. I noticed that you recently removed content from Muhammad Iqbal without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. pipe058 06:34, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Patna, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Thank you. Boyinaroom (talk) 06:30, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- I removed it because Patna was a page for city and not for district. We can add District Magistrate on Patna District page and not on city page as it's jurisdiction is not only for city but for district as a whole. And that's why i removed it. if i didnt anything against the rule, thats was not intentional. Curious man123 (talk) 15:32, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- The government section says that "The civic administration of Patna is run by several government agencies and has overlapping structural divisions. At least five administrative definitions of the city are available; listed in ascending order of area, those are: Patna division, Patna district (also the Patna Police area), the Patna Metropolitan Region (also known as Patna Planning area), "Greater Patna" or PRDA area, which adds to the PMC area a few areas just adjacent to it and Patna Municipal Corporation area." so District Magistrate should be added

Disambiguation link notification for January 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Talaja Caves, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Talaja. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit] The script that produces infobox templates in articles often contain notes that can only be seem if you are editing. The one in the nickname field of the infobox in the article on Veraval looks like this: <!-- DO NOT INSERT Somnath OR OTHER RELATED NAMES HERE. IT IS A DIFFERENT TOWN -->
It was unhelpful of you to delete it. Please do not do it again.
If you think that the note is wrong, you should use the article talk page to discuss it.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:08, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Bandra Terminus–Veraval Weekly Superfast Express moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Bandra Terminus–Veraval Weekly Superfast Express, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Kashmir princely state
[edit]This page is on WP:1RR. You cannot make more than 1 revert on this page thus you should revert your recent own edit.
Another reason why you should revert is, that you are wrong about Aksai Chin. It was not controlled neither by this princely state or the British.
See the last paragraph of the section Aksai_Chin#1899_to_1947 where it talks about how the British never demarcated this Aksai Chin. Thanks. Capitals00 (talk) 02:41, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- Well the section you mention tells that until 1933 the map published by the government of China shown aksai chin in India and also the Peking university did the same - "From 1917 to 1933, the Postal Atlas of China, published by the Government of China in Peking had shown the boundary in Aksai Chin as per the Johnson line, which runs along the Kunlun mountains. The Peking University Atlas, published in 1925, also put the Aksai Chin in India." And also India did salt mining in 1950 to understand the economic feasibility for the aksai chin which is also mention in the article with ref. And yet you think we are missing something then i suggest to create a talk on talk page and establish a consensus about it. Curious man123 (talk) 03:55, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- China shows Taiwan on its map. Do you think that is accurate? The source cited for collecting salt itself states that it was purely a scientifc research work.[1] You can make better argument for Myanmar forces when they just got inside Indian territory months ago[2] but I am sure you won't say that Myanmar forces are in control of Indian territory.
- You should self-revert now. Capitals00 (talk) 05:00, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- Well this is a matter of consensus now so i am adding a topic on a talk page on the article and we should actually have this debate about this over there. Curious man123 (talk) 05:11, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

April 2024
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. PadFoot2008 (talk) 09:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- how this was a edit war @PadFoot2008? Simply because i am adding something which we already have a factual info how that implies for edit war. Adding info provided by a reason and basis for which we already have a ref and backing for what i am saying i dont understand how that amounts for a edit war? Yes having rebuttals is altogether an differnt issue and having rebuttal are one which provides good atmosphere for editors to make a good articles. But saying, this was a editing war, than i am sorry to say but you are mistaken Curious man123 (talk) 10:00, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- Please read WP:edit warring. PadFoot2008 (talk) 10:02, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- That goes for unexplained reverts, i had already said about the reasons for what i have added for which i had a basis and i insist you to refer WP:Consensus which says that if something is establish once do not require consensus for every article. As far as your reverts, i might be wrong, but it seems like a case of WP:IDONTLIKEIT. But fair enough, i don't want any edit war between anyone. If you insists for consensus, i am happy to go with your way. Curious man123 (talk) 10:13, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know why you should be making random assumptions but WP: Editwarring extends to "explained reverts" as well. There has been no consensus on any article talk page to include those specific entities to succession list of the Mughal Empire infobox. And also please refrain from making random accusations against people. And lastly, yes, I would indeed recommend you to discuss on the talk page of the concerned article.
