Re: MOTD

[edit]

I am sorry that I have not contributed to the mottos (or much of anything, for that matter) recently, but if it is not problematic, I would prefer to remain listed as a participant. When I come up with new ideas, I will post them. Thank you. --UberScienceNerd Talk Contributions 20:23, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am still going to contribute to MOTD, though there hasn't been much happening on this project. So keep me as an active. Thanks for asking though. -- [[SRE.K.A.L.|L.A.K.ERS]]call me Keith 06:30, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Queenie!

[edit]

For not replying earlier - a busy wikiweek. Um, now "What subpages would I like in the menu?" How about User:Paxse/Sand to keep a list of the sandbox links, User:Paxse/Districts for my long term project, User:Paxse/To Do for all the silly scribbles on the front page User:Paxse/DYK for bragging purposes, User:Paxse/Shiny for pretty stars and then perhaps the last link should be to my emailuser page [[1]]. And yes, I'm very happy for you to collapse my boxes, collapse away, whatever works! Now most of these subpages are redlinks, so I'll add some content soon (I wasn't expecting you to do that part) Thank you again, you are a champion! Cheers, Paxse (talk) 14:51, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

thanks Quennie, for the "article legitimation stamp", and correction! I guess a stub is better than nothing. (I wonder if I am a stub dude in real life...) What does stub stand for? Or is it just an English word? kind regards! Ricardoramalho (talk) 14:56, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, in Wikipedia, it means [taking words from Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team/Assessment#Grades] that the article is very short and provides a small amount of information. In the real world I think it means something like a tree cut very low to the ground, leaving just a stub. Don't quote me on that, though ;D Queenie 15:04, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, stub is a lot worse than I thought, I am not a stub dude :^) Ricardoramalho (talk) 20:31, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know nothing about horse racing either. I'm guessing it'll increase in length and size over the next few hours though. ^_^ D.M.N. (talk) 15:43, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MOTD Barnstar

[edit]

Hi there! I saw your request at WP:RB and thought it hadn't been filled yet, so I did make another version of the barnstar at File:MOTD Barnstar3.PNG. Feel free to use it if you want. Best, -download | sign! 21:32, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Queenie!

[edit]

Wow ^^ talk back template overload ^^! Thank you for your congrats and sorry again for the delay in answering your userpage design questions. It's been a damn busy week. Thank you also for your revamps, clean ups and patient additional changes (feel free to tell me to run away and bug someone else). I'll have a few days off in the coming weeks when I can organise things on my page, I'll get back to you then. Have a great Easter! Cheers, Paxse (talk) 07:13, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New MOTD designs Maen. K. A. (talk) 10:53, 10 April 2009 (UTC) I have decided to retire. I've had a ball here, and who knows? May be back in the future. I would like to acknowledge my best friends before I leave.[reply]

  • Pianisteh - Your wittiness livened things up whenever I grew bored. I wish you well in your RFA (if it ever comes round).
  • Eddie - Good luck in pursuing those mystical 25 DYKs. I'm sure you'll get there, and beyond.
  • Spittle - Thanks for all the good times and nuclear fireballs :D
  • WWW - Fare thee well.
  • Wikiert - Keep up those MOTD suggestions - Lord knows we need them.
  • Chamal - Thanks.
  • Simply South - Keep up those closures as MOTD - I'll miss them.
  • Nutiketaiel - *bows* Stay safe, Emperor.
  • Julian - My fellow Irish editor. Good look to your cyclones!
  • Icy - Goodbye.
  • Paxse - Sorry for leaving your design floundering. You'll have to get someone else, my apologies.
  • Ched, Chzz, Garden, Roux, Cream - See ya! I may inhabit IRC for a while more.
  • To anyone else - apologies for leaving you out, and goodbye.

retired...?????!

[edit]

but why....???--The other shadow 20:07, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because he/she has grown tired of Wikipedia and now finds it boring. It happens a lot of people. Don't come here screaming for him/her to come back please.--Pattont/c 20:11, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hahaha "mystical" 25 DYK's. :-) Hope to see ya 'round these parts again sometime in the future! I wish you well in life, my friend; you'll do a lot of good in whatever you go into. Feel free to join "the cabal" in ##juliancolton on IRC whenever. With love and cheers, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 21:03, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Queenie! I'm not sure if you'll ever read this, but I hope to see you around. I'd much prefer you leaving this quietly - dramatic, tear-stained leaves rather bother me. The wiki will always have its doors open for you, and your band of friends will always be here to give you a warm welcome back. —La Pianista 04:04, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it was kind of sad to see that black box on your page... Anyway, it was nice working with you here. I too hope to see you around. I guess you'll probably come back from time to time, but good luck with whatever you do in real life. And don't forget us cabalists... I mean collaborators ;) Chamal talk 05:55, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what to say that hasn't been said already. Queenie, your presence on the wiki will be missed. We hope to see you back on the wiki someday. Wikiert T S C 14:55, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Whoa. I just logged in on a mere whim, so that I could investigate the formatting on a certain page, and I get this..? Thanks. That's all I can say. I might come back someday, as I said. But for now, byee and thanks for all the support! Queenie 16:46, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Ok then Slán leat. pablohablo. 19:13, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ach, what a pity. Another valuable editor leaving the project. I hope you decide to come back eventually. Our door will always be open to you. tempodivalse [☎] 03:07, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Valuable...? I wouldn't say that. Thanks. :) an unlogged in Queenie

You've left? Shame to see you go. I wish you well out there. Simply south (talk) 12:37, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ah...I've tried to retire several times before, but without success... Professor M. Fiendish, Esq. 14:07, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A better picture

[edit]

Well, I must say that I also think it should have been a more "new" picture in that article, but I still think the picture in the infoboks from 1973 still shall be in the infoboks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bad News Live 1982-87 (talkcontribs) 18:59, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
