RE: Article Deletion

Hi. Thanks for your note. I am assuming that you are refering to the article The Guardians. This article was tagged, by another user, as a candidate for speedy deletion under section 7 of the article deletion criteria. When I reviewed the article I compared it to the deletion criteria and believed that it met the criteria, and should therefore be deleted. Within this criteria the key issue is whether there is anything in the article which indicates why the group might be notable (in this case I couldn't see anything that did). If you feel that the article, in its original form, shouldn't have been deleted - then please raise the issue on Wikipedia:Deletion review. However, if you agree that it did match the deletion criteria, but that it can be rewritten in a form that doesn't match the deletion criteria - please feel free to do so and repost the article.
