Norma Redfearn

[edit]

Hi Cullercoats,

With all due respect, I felt I had to change your article and many updates on Norma Redfearn. I can assure you I'm not a Labour Party member (or indeed voter) or do I have any connection with Norma herself.

However, I feel that your article and updates follow an agenda (political?) of you own. In particular, your pointed reference to Ms Redfearn's age is really not that relevant to her current role or achievements. I have included her birth date in the info. box and that should be enough. Also, the lengthy monologue about King's School is not really a defining feature of her life and achievements and if you really feel it necessary to add this to Wikipedia, it would be probably better to add it under "King's School". Indeed, I feel you are being a little harsh, given Ms Redfearn only came to office in May and the events and actions of North Tyneside Council in relation to King's were set in motion long before she took office and were supported by all political parties at the time.

I do hope you will not engage in 'undoing' my edits, as I don't want to engage in a game of Wikipedia ping-pong!

With King Regards
