Minor edits
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Sandman (disambiguation), as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Adding content is not considered minor. Thanks. -- Quiddity (talk) 20:28, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
- When in doubt, it's (almost certainly) not a minor edit!
- Safe to assume that it's better not to mark any edit as minor even if it is?
- Probably even better would be to uncheck "Mark all edits minor by default" in "My preferences", don't I feel teh dumb right now :( !
- Thanks Quiddity, Crowmanyclouds (talk) 04:04, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, and, No prob :)
- Someone told me, years ago, "you're not a real Wikipedian until you've made (and learned from) 50 mistakes". Similar insights from Shaw and others. Have a good weekend! -- Quiddity (talk) 04:21, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
