Willie "The Lion" Smith
[edit]Moved from Wikipedia talk:User page (revision)
I'm a newbie and I tried to make a major edit to the Willie "The Lion" Smith site. They have him marrying the wrong Blanche Merrill. I knew the right one very well and tried to include quite a bit of her biography as well as the circumstances under which they married and separated which I learned first hand from the correct Blanche Merrill.
The edits I made disappeared when I tried to save them. Have they gone to the original authors of the site for verification/acceptance or rejection, or have did I just been inadvertantly delete them. Please let me know before I try to do it all again.
I don't know how to contact the original author of the Willie "The Lion" Smith site ask whether he wishes my edit to be accepted or not. I also don't understand whether he has seen the edits or not, since they disappeared as far as I know.
I have no vested interest in whether the my edits are made or not, I would think the author would have, since his facts in the matter are completely and provably wrong, which can shown by simple looking at the life of the Blance Merrill he states was "The Lion's" wife. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crowebobby (talk • contribs) 00:50, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Your contributions history currently shows that you have made two edits, neither of which is to the Willie "The Lion" Smith article. Did you edit under a different user name, perhaps? I would be glad to try to help you with your question, but it's hard for me to say anything definitive without being able to actually view the edits. Could you please identify the edits in the article's history to which you are referring? Thank you, –Black Falcon (Talk) 03:51, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
