The article Phil Jackson (director) has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Removal of Stub and Notability Tags
[edit]On two occasions you have removed the stub and notability tags from the article The Half Dozen without appropriate reason or justification. The article has now been included on a watch list and further removal of these and similar tags will result in procedural escalations that given your past history may result in the blocking or banning of your account. If you need to discuss any of this or need some advice, please don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page. thewinchester 18:36, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Osias Belser
[edit]Hi Crimson123. I see that you blanked the article you created, Osias Belser. I have tagged with the {{db-g7}} speedy deletion notice; I assumed you want it deleted because of the fact that you blanked it. It has now been deleted. Picaroon 01:27, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

The article The Treads has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Veinor (talk to me) 14:32, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Nightfall (2005 film)
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Nightfall (2005 film), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Nightfall (2005 film) seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Nightfall (2005 film), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:44, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of The Treads (band)
[edit]A tag has been placed on The Treads (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article List of people with initials J. G. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Such a list is of no encyclopedic use, unless some of them are widely known by just these initials. If any such are verifiably so known, their entries should be restored from here to the Dab JG -- just as Elvis Presley has an entry on the Dab Elvis; the rest may be harmlessly deleted as a group.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jerzy•t 10:17, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
