Recent edit to Brad Hogg

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Brad Hogg), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 23:30, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yorman Landa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:51, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Paddlepop stick

[edit]

Hello, Cricketer993,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Paddlepop stick should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paddlepop stick .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Meatsgains (talk) 01:18, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Cricketer993. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Adam Marjoram, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Adam Marjoram to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

J947( c ) (m) 00:11, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nick Corvino has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Melcous (talk) 02:15, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I will add a source tonight. Cricketer993 (talk) 02:17, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Cricketer993. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Joseph Wayne Miller, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Joseph Wayne Miller to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Sources, please

[edit]

When you created the article on Gerald Degaetano you presumably had a source to hand (or did you just do it by word of mouth?). Please remember to give us the references, tell us where you found your information, or your articles are likely to be deleted. I found two newspaper articles about him very quickly - but you should have given one or more references yourself. As an article about a recently dead person, this was eligible for deletion under BLPPROD: please add references so that your work doesn't disappear that way. Creating unsourced stubs repeatedly, when you have already been asked not to, is begining to look like "disruptive editing" and could lead to your being blocked from editing, to protect the encyclopedia. Thanks. PamD 16:11, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I just forgot. It was a stupid mistake. Cricketer993 (talk) 23:20, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Alan Maynard

[edit]

Hello, Cricketer993. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Alan Maynard".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hhkohh (talk) 17:08, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Nick Corvino has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unclear notability. Two local sources mention him as a murder victim, and that seems all.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
