John Ardion is being misquoted as saying "she usually had....". The confusion is understandable phonetically, but that he in fact says "she knew she had...." is quite obvious. I have examined the interview cited thoroughly and have no doubt whatsoever that any jury would support my understanding. Also in the context of the question it makes more sense to say "she knew". His point is that Callas was aware of her effect but could not explain it. I suggest that anyone interested examine the evidence for themselves or accept my minor, but I feel important correction. My source is DVD of the Patsy Swank/John Ardoin interview. I think the article as a whole is excellent, and greatly admire it's authorship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Credophobe (talkcontribs) 17:09, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

OK thanks very much for persisting and following through with this correction. When you first attempted to make it I ordered the DVD, and your persistence in making the correction caused me to finally listen to the interview. Wikipedia needs good editors like you who stick to the facts, observe carefully, and spot errors. I hope you stick around and become a regular Wikipedia editor.
