Hi: I work with Stone Rose, a men’s fashion line, that recently had an event on Tuesday, March 29 to raise money for the Tsunami victims through Operation USA.
The exciting part of the event was that the hair that Justin Bieber gave to Ellen DeGeneres saying that “I hope it will go to a good cause” and then sold on E-bay for $40,668 was showcased at our event and we allowed people to take pictures with his hair and then suggested a donation. In total we raised $4,000 and we were wondering if there was a way that we could mention this on Justin Bieber’s Wikipedia Page.
I can give you any information that you need. I have provided links below to prove what I have already said.

Greetings,
In previous "help me" talk that I created i could not find the reply button so I am creating a new one. I am having some trouble getting an edit made. Basically, the person who responded to me yesterday said that the edit was already created but it wasn't.
On Justin_bieber#Hair section [72]-[73] there is miss communication and misleading information.
"Bieber changed his hairstyle in February 2011 and a lock of Justin Bieber's hair has been sold for $40,668 (£25,024) in a charity sale on Ebay, with 98 bids in total.[72] The hair toured America with its own bodyguard, and fans could have their picture taken with it in return for a charitable donation.[73] Bieber donated the winnings to a charity which rescues and rehabilitates animals."
First, #73 happened before #72. Second, Bieber didn't donate the money Ellen did. Ellen has been working with the foundation, The Gentle Barn, for some time. She sold the hair and gave the $40k to them. Third, #73 has some mixed up information. The hair is not on Tour with a security guard. The company I work with Stone Rose, held a charity event at Lucky Strike Lanes, with Justins Hair to raise money for Operation USA for Japan's Tsunami relief. It was a one time showing, where we raised $4,000 and we had guards but not for a tour.
Is there any way to re-order this correctly, and still put in there that Stone Rose, the Justins Biebers Hair, Raised $4000 for the Tsunami Relief with the help of Operation USA?
Thanks, Amy
- Sure, that can be done, as long as there are reliable sources for each claim. Reference #73 (http://www.nowmagazine.co.uk/celebrity-news/teen-now/521184/justin-bieber-s-hair-has-its-own-bodyguard/1/) does imply that the hair was auctioned first and then was taken on tour. Do you have a reference from a reliable source that the order should be changed, or for the other changes that you want to make? Thanks! —Tim Pierce (talk) 18:57, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
