[edit] Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ben Davies (footballer, born 1995) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Brookside and American Pastoral
[edit]Hi! Thanks for adding that note to Brookside, New Jersey. My dad wrote a book about the connections between Brookside and Old Rimrock, American Anti-Pastoral. I shouldn't add it to the Brookside or American Pastoral articles because I obviously have a conflict of interest, but if you're interested, you can look it up and see if you want to add it as a reference. - Thanks for showing me this! I actually wanted to add an explanation that the fictional town of Old Rimrock is inspired by Brookside and its post office but I lacked source materials. Crabrangoon22 (talk) 13:01, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Wonderful! The publisher page links to a Google Books preview that may have enough pages to enable you to find a citation to a page in the book. You could also request a free copy from the publisher and explain that you plan to use it for Wikipedia editing - I don’t know if they’ll go for that, but might be worth a try. Or you could probably cite the publisher page as evidence for a simple statement of connection. Dreamyshade (talk) 16:38, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
