Picking an Article

[edit]

I am leaning toward editing an article on a female psychologist. From looking at the list that Dr. Council shared with us I think Doreen Kimura would be a good article to edit. The current article doesn't have much about her personal life and what they have for career is brief. I also think Beverly Greene would be a good person to write an article on. Her focus is on social privilege in understanding human identity and I think that is very interesting. I am leaning more toward Beverly Greene. I agree with Beverly Greene. Her focus seems more interesting to learn about and do research on. I also would like to learn more about female psychologists. ~Alaysia.Freetly — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alaysia.freetly (talkcontribs) 19:09, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Perfect! So Beverly Greene is our first choice and should we just say Doreen Kimura as our second? I really am interested in learning more about Beverly Greene so I hope it works out. Courtneyhestdalen (talk) 19:13, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Beverly Greene for sure for our first. I was looking at Phoebe C. Ellsworth and thought her research on jury behavior and decision making sounded interesting. I think Phoebe or Doreen would be a good second choice! ~Alaysia.Freetly — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alaysia.freetly (talkcontribs) 19:18, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome, so Beverly Greene is our first choice and Phoebe C. Ellsworth is our second. Courtneyhestdalen (talk) 19:20, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback from Dr. Council: Beverly Greene is a great choice. As far as I can tell, this would be a new article. All I could find on Wikipedia was an article about an architect, Beverly Loraine Greene. I did find the psychologist Beverly Greene on the Psychology's Feminist Voices website. I'm surprised she does not have a Wikipedia article. She deserves it as she is notable. J.R. Council (talk) 18:01, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
