Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Great Rift Valley (geographical concept), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. I did not understand why it has been modified. I only added a few scientific info to the page. Let me know. Cortigi — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cortigi (talkcontribs) 09:57, 26 May 2012

It seems that User:Naohiro19 revertvandal was in error (the account has been blocked) as your edit was not vandalism. However, the problem is that you were adding links to your own website. We just don't promote our own stuff here. You have also added reference links in articles to works published in reliable sources which have an author named Cortigi as on of the authors -- and that is fine. Note that I have also removed some of your links to your website which appear to be promoting a book. Vsmith (talk) 12:08, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK thanks. I will modify the pages as to add references to published papers only. Thanks again. Cortigi
